Nothing fancy- just for fun. My godson spent the night and pretty sure we will be playing muddy football in awhile. Baroque Tanitians and SS pearls. I keep meaning to add pearls to the top strand, but having a hard time finding the right color. They are a coppery/silver in real life.

These are 9-9.5mm grey Akoya from Takahashi (set by them too). I have no idea how everyone else makes earshots look good, so I’ve attached a non-earshot they sent me which shows the pearls far better than my on-ear attempts. They’re smaller than a lot of pearl dangles but I wanted some of these for earrings and don’t like the look of pearl studs on my lobes (love them on others!)

ETA: apologies for the aggressively large photos! I can’t seem to re-size them. (And urgh to the sun damage freckles everywhere.)

I am going to spare everyone a picture of my cleavage. I am wearing these 11-12mm all nacre FW lavender pearls today. To the vet and furniture shopping- how exciting!

Wrong string size on the SoC - the double knots don’t work. And I definitely got less messy with the glue just over these four attempts.

But. Holy crap. These are actually wearable.

The strand is 9-10mm. Thought I’d experiment with smaller sizes than I usually like. They’re super lustrous which makes up (mostly ) for the smaller size.

I use the bathroom mirror but its a bit hit and miss

These are such a pretty neutral and a very wearable size!! And the hooks look nice and solid and sturdy
