My mom has quite an amazing Pearl collection too, I wish I could have her bring her collection on her next visit so that I could photograph her pearls, pinks, silvers, creamy...she has them all! In fact, her original e-ring from my dad is a Pearl ring. She wears a diamond ering now though. Funny how I didn’t start appreciating their beauty until I hit my 40s.

Yssie - Talk about some Arm Candy !!! And those Madama seem to have good colour. I must admit that most I've seen, while having gorgeous lustre, tend more to the Silver blue. Baby blues are gorg!

They do!! I was happily surprised. Surfaces aren’t too smooth but they do lean more blue than other Madama strands I’ve seen. The other strands had better luster and smoother skins though.

Rounds with Vietnamese blue colour and Japanese all-other-quality-factors - if someone could figure that out there’d be a queue from the US to Australia

In the meantime - @lissyflo’s greys have my wallet quivering in fear

I swapped out the 14k gold beads with red spinel beads cause the gold beads was causing discoloration on the string and pearls.

Those spinel beads enhance the pink overtone of the pearls. Lovely.

Got this last week. 10-14mm from Continental Pearl in downtown L.A. I love the shape and color, but it's not properly strung and knotted, I just tied the clasp to the string it came with lol. Natural east facing lighting vs yucky yellow indoor lighting with some friends.

"Why don't you post on the GSS thread" she said. Oh my word I am behind. I am sorry. These are absolutely glowy glorious on you. LIke, this could cause people to immediately buy a strand of GSS. They are freaking PERFECT.

I'm getting my first pfizer shot tomorrow! Here's a blurry selfie (most accurate in color) and two close ups of the Pattye sun thread (not accurate in color, too washed out but best I can do with the sun setting). You can see how they hold their color against a mustard colored sweater that's much more saturated. I'm thrilled with this strand and love the shortened length.

Yes!! That thread is a fantastic match!! That's good to know. I bought a couple of her golds/yellows but I don't think I got the Sun colour... So if the ones I got are too dark or deep I'll try Sun...

Today's stack Sea of Cortez from the farm in MX and baby freshwaters from Little H.

I restrung the SoC a few days ago and removed a pearl to shorten. Length is perfect now but I'm not happy with my stringing... I'll redo it at some point.

The baby FW bracelet has the cutest clasp! Those baby ball clasps are precious. This one also needs to be restrung - it's too long, and the gimp gaffe is an eyesore, but I'm not feeling up to dealing with seed pearls just yet

I restrung the SoC a few days ago and removed a pearl to shorten. Length is perfect now but I'm not happy with my stringing... I'll redo it at some point.

The baby FW bracelet has the cutest clasp! Those baby ball clasps are precious. This one also needs to be restrung - it's too long, and the gimp gaffe is an eyesore, but I'm not feeling up to dealing with seed pearls just yet
