I only have one set with me right now and that's some tiny freshwaters. I am down in FL and won't be back with the others until the end of next month. But I do have a cheapy set of 10mm black Akoyas coming sometime in the future. And I do mean cheapy, lol. I'm not holding my breath that they are any great shakes.

Thanks, you didn't miss anything. I'm just starting to dip my toe into pearls. I have some strands from long ago that hubby brought back from his frequent far east trips but nothing large or colorful. These are from a company in Hong Kong called TherapeuticsAtlier. I liked how they looked in the photos and they were the size I was looking for and mainly they were cheap, lol. I'm just trying to determine what looks good on me size wise and color wise before I outlay the bucks. I know now that this is probably as big as I would ever go. I do like the color and think they don't look too bad for cheap pearls.

I wore this FW pearl pendant to my appointment with a breast doctor today.
She laughed! And snapped a photo of it for herself.

i just came across this famose picture of he Queen mum fishing in pearls in NZ
im posting it to inspire everyone to wear pearls everyday

just on that (wearing pearls everyday) i caught a bus that had school kids in it ( well behaved school kids) yesterday
ive mentioned before that school girls wear pearl earrings to school here
but this young lady had a rather beautiful pearl choker to go with the earrings
