Wait, you found one with real pearls???
Omg please share the seller! I absolutely adore pearl headbands and pearl hair accessories but I've only found ones with fake plastic beads.
I was thinking I'd have to make my own!
He is darling! Prefect on your sweater.
Aww thank you!I love that ring! If I ever have the heart to drill my supearl that would be the ring I’d put it in!
Thank you! I really enjoyed wearing them today too!Very pretty combo!
Thank you! They are Tasaki cluster akoyas. Here is a better view. They remind me of soap bubblesDetails on the earrings please? They are beautiful!
Wearing @Cerulean’s preloved Gemmie Akoya Pearl 8 mm studs from Andrew Moline!!! They definitely pass the “how many fingers am I holding up?” test! Sadly my mom’s pearl strands look a bit dull and yellow by comparison. All my life they looks super white.
Can pearls be pinked again?
This is from top to bottom my 5.5 mm Akoya from 1992, a graduated strand I found at an antique store (the big ones-might be freshies. Not sure) And then my moms graduated Akoya from about 1962. Much daintier. Still pretty white near the antique store ones.
Wow, that Supearl glows like crazy even in the net!!!
Your pearls are all beautiful You did really well on Cerulean’s studs, I remember when she bought them - pearls don’t get any better than that pair!
Your older strands are lovely just as they are, IMO. That antiqued lace colour sings “vintage” The only thing I would suggest is to give them a thorough once-over, they might need restringing if it’s been a while.
