Oooh those hulu earrings look great on!!!!!! I admired their design earlier but they look great on your ears @Burmesedaze :kiss2:
 
Yesterday was in the 90s here (too soon for me) and we were in the car much of the day and I took a few earring selfies of my antique sapphire diamond earrings while we were driving. That's one way to pass the time while sitting in traffic. Though getting shots while moving is challenging especially with earrings that articulate.

well opal and tanzanite ring. The tanzanite was a ring I purchased 10 years ago on ebay. I see a greenish spot in it and I think it was supposed20190521_131553_HDR.jpg20190521_131527_HDR.jpg to be unheated but I forget!

The sapphire is 2.59 cts and I can’t remember nor find the weight of the spinel, but it’s very identical in proportion to the sapphire. It is over 2 carats. The spinel’s AIGS lab brief is at the bank. The sapphire has both an AGL (heat only) and an AIGS lab brief, Both stones are Tanzanian.

ETA: Found the spinel carat weight, 2.2 carats. Sapphires are denser, so the same size stone is heavier.

I've always liked it but thought of it as a more basic piece (I wear it heaps in summer) so I'm always tickled when others like it too :mrgreen2:
 
Today I'm wearing my 5 carat purple spinel. I wear it with the diamond band because it's a bit too big, but I'm not going to size it, as she is destined for a white gold art deco setting. 20190522_095559.jpg

The sun cane out for ten seconds this morning!!! Yay. Mahenge spinel fluorescence and Paraiba glow!! Poor pink spinel on my ring finger looked sad.
