I feel like it was a huge revelation for me that I can wear rings on my index finger

Picked these up unexpectedly on a detour on our way to our little weekend get away. We went to a geology and mineral museum on a whim and they had simple handmade 14k/SS earrings with different precious gemstones and they were strangely low in price...like very low in price.

After looking at all they offered, scouring many tanzanite cab dangles and diamond studs I saw these bright blue green gems (the only ones there) shouting at me and immediately thought "Emeralds?! Here?!" And oddly enough they ended up being 5mm Columbian emeralds set in sterling silver prong studs. They were only $70 and I couldn't resist! I only own emeralds in rings but after wearing these all weekend I must say that emeralds are beautiful on the ears especially on brunette or auburn hair shades.
They're not amazing quality but for their size and clarity they sure are worth more than what I paid. Theyre so understated yet the color of them adds such glamour.

Aww no worries! The stone is 1ct. Obviously going in there made me strangely like small stones! Who am I, and where did my normal huge bling loving self go?!?!

I almost bought it bc it was $995! But realized it wouldn't get enough wear

This is an aqua looking paraiba, and your stone came to mind. I love the pale pink melee around this stone, and I thought of your heart. I think it would look superb in a similar frame. Anyway, this really isn’t a thread to discuss setting the stone, I just saw this and wanted to put it out there before I forgot. Your aquas are so pretty!! Mom did great!
