The jade vendor on Wechat also runs these livestream sessions on Facebook where they lay out all their goods on a table and you just ask if you spot something you like.

If you agree to buy you pay 10% on top of the agreed price. Then I usually get the same vendor to set the stuff for me as well. It seems daunting at first but I had a lot of help from some of the jade PSers and now I am buying up jade flowers like a maniac!

The other buyers are pretty nice as well and usually someone will jump on to help you if you are stuck and they know you don't speak the language.

A really nice stranger helped me out with this flower.

With so much jade flower buying for yourself and lil sis, I hope you're not going to get in trouble with Pink Bandit or the piggy bank. Gorgeous lavender jade flower. I can't tell whether it's this one or your green one you posted in your thread that's going to be your "last" one.

I've been looking at my paraiba ring, and although this picture is not able to capture the beautiful transparency, I hope the colours show up right.

Love the paraiba and colorful melee around it - such a great twist to the usual halo and they all complement the color of the paraiba beautifully.

DW's ruby and carré cut diamond ring. Apparently carré cut diamonds are very rarely used these days. When we acquired this vintage ring the ruby was badly scratched, some of the diamonds were loose, and the polish had worn off the 18K shank. We gave the ring to Amy at DKJ to be refurbished. Amy did a terrific job, the ring looks like new!! The second photo is by DKJ.

My yellow gold emerald cabochon ring + my teeny 3mm alexandrite made with a sterling silver band and yellow gold bezel that has my girls name on it + a plain stacking band.
Both gemstones worn together just brighten my day, and give me a subtle pick me up! :appl:
