Can you tell us more about your ring? I didn't find a thread on it - but perhaps I've just overlooked it?
 
I had my wedding ring set soldered together recently because when they didn't line up it really annoyed me. My rings were cleaned in the process and I found myself admiring my sapphire with fresh eyes (12 years of wear had dulled its colour). It's not perfect - it has an area of extinction in the centre, but I love that I can see purple, blue, and cyan at various angles.

Thank you. I got it pre-owned and fell for the spinel and the profile design. It reminds me of Saturn, pizza oven, or an arch bridge. My least favorite part is the thick thick rose gold bezel, but that's ok.

Thank you, and yes, I will definitely take more close-ups! I'm still amazed by how beautifully rendered all the details are; will definitely post more pics in the upcoming days :D

Your necklace hangs beautifully, and it looks much better this way than in your hand. It definitely makes a big visual impact, yet is "neutral" enough that you can pretty much wear it with any color if clothing! I'm absolutely envious of your padparadscha sapphires and your ability to wear them!

Awww thank you so much!! Yes, I love that it strikes the perfect balance between striking + everyday wearable, plus it's a great fit for a lot of my daily dresses :D Thank you so much; so happy I have a padparadscha "set" with my necklace + ring now <3

Thinking of getting an emerald necklace next though lol, I've recently been super into them. Maybe some paraiba melees too.

It really looks so much like Guatemalan jadeite. Did you get it from a reliable vendor? I wonder if there might have been a listing mistake. I love Guatemalan blue jadeite, by the way.

It’s from a reputable store in Singapore and certified so I know it’s A jade for sure. Re: origin, it was stated as Burmese on the website but there is no way for me to verify since my local lab does not certify jadeite origin.
