It’s from a reputable store in Singapore and certified so I know it’s A jade for sure. Re: origin, it was stated as Burmese on the website but there is no way for me to verify since my local lab does not certify jadeite origin.

Switched out my rings at the bank today and took out my diamond/gold 2ct medium dark tsavorite and green diamond with faint side pinks three stone rose gold/diamond melee ring.
Excuse the violet spinel shot, that’s one of my fav gems.
The tsavorite always looks forest green in photos, but it’s a brighter green IRL.
Attractive tourmaline, @icy_jade! I'm digging this color lately and went to try this ring. It closed up quite often but I love that "eerie glow" under the right light conditions. Yours looks brighter and has a better cut.

Yes, I remember your post and it was very helpful. Thanks. Would you say that your emerald is more consistent?
Yes, especially in certain lighting where tourmaline looks “flat”, then the emerald certainly looks better.
Yeah, I reckon. Thanks.
This tourmaline earring is exquisitely made by Vram but... totally black out! @T L, want to set your elongate cut tourmaline like this? Yours looks bright.
I did say that yours looks bright above, lol.
You need to set that baby! It’s shorter in length and won’t rub up against your face like that of the Vram. I love that earring.
kgizo, Bailey and userangl - inspiration on moonstones and colored diamonds
Mochiko - I love the cab stack rings - the colors are so playful and fun.
ilovegemstones - always great rings and
NKOTB - another example of why you are queen of pink
I usually change my rings every day but this one got worn two days in a row (unheated no-an-asscher aqua)
and DianeM - you will notice I had to cut my nails down...I took a metal jewelry bootcamp class and filed a few accidentally
Thank you and yes it is an aquamarine. It was cut by Sheldon Douglas Sink for Jeff Hapeman (of Earth's Treasury) who sold it to me.So pretty! So that is an aquamarine?
