Hello! I got this beautiful preloved 1 Carat pink sapphire from cbianco. Desert rose sold it via her Instagram. The stone is a nice calibrated 6x5 mm. I am looking for suggestions to set it. I think I want to do a halo but I don't know what to use - should I do melee diamonds or a colored...

Another day in the office and OT rant I'm freezing here, I think it's in the law to middle 60s. I'm wearing thick wool sweaters and ski layers, I gave up on fashion. Anyway, emerald ring from the 50s, French.

I wish I have a tourmaline like that, haha. I think we all draw inspiration from someone/somewhere at various levels, add our own cohesive aesthetic, & voilà!

I'm happy that this combo is becoming more popular, more the merrier. After all, nature likes orange + blue too!

but i took my princess cut three stone with the blue topaz centre out to lunch
that thing might have come from the mall but its diamonds sparkled and flashed colour like crazy, even the six tiny ones in the band showed their purpose today

Just try to take your photos in good light. For example, snap a photo while you’re outside during the day. You’re actually doing a pretty good job in low light so I can only imagine your photos will look that much better in daylight. I’d love to see that blue topaz of yours.

the blue topaz has a window that anoyees me, half the time i want to replace it was a lab diamond and half the time keep it maybe get the jewler to add some silver foil under the stone for the window
it was a great score that ring, NZ$750 from an insurance sale -im assuming a loss that was recovered after they had paid out
i do wonder what happened to the origional stone?
it was a Micheal hill 18K ER, i had them size it for me -they quoted me 4k 6 years ago for a replacement diamond (earth) it would not be a PS quality stone

i will see if i can find an old picture
but honestly the way the thing sparkled yesterday i was in love with all over again

those last photos ive posted of my moss agate were from my aging laptop
i have a problem with my cell so its unoperational just now and i dont have the energy to fix it right now
