Really beautiful jade Mellowyellow, Seaglow and Burmesedaze! I love the lavenders and of course, the icy and glassy jades! Seaglow, I love both rings worn together like that! Also love both styles. And the drink looks delicious! What is it?
How wonderful! That IS a beautifully delicious drink. Immediately I thought it might be something like a mint mojito. Lol.It's cold peppermint tea with honey.
Yes it is and a huge price tag as well!!!
Do you know if they are sparkly in real life? I haven't even seen a tourmaline in real life! Hubby is just attracted to anything that's obviously pink! Doesn't like pink diamonds though! Claims they don't look that pink to him and we can never afford anything that would look pink enough!
The zircon has surprised me. It has more "sparkle" than I expected a colour stone to have.
You do have a really large ring already! I had forgotten about your rose quartz. It Looks great on your hand. I do that frequently ! I've started to wear rings out in unusual combinations because I find it interesting and artistic. There is a conversation happening between the pieces, each one making the other more of its own unique thing. I think that combo works well because of the gentleness of the rose quartz. It's not acrimoniously competing with the other...I like it. Cool!
OMG!!!! Close up of the jade and if possible a price range please???? I am having Jade dramas!
So my quest to have my perfect imperial jade ring has come into fruition.
Imperial Jade is really elusive. In order for jade to be considered imperial, it has to be transluscent, of good texture, and good color with the right tone of green. Untreated ofcourse, so Type A Jade. I wanted a decent-sized cab with a good thickness, which is difficult as imperial jade usually occurs in thin veins...so a good bangle is really a museum piece.
Here's the ring in different lighting conditions. In direct sunlight, under LED lamp, and in natural light.
It has a diamond halo consisting of pear-shaped diamonds, F-color, VVS, jade center stone with AIGS report, set in 18K white gold.

I bow down to the greatness of that ring.See below photos which I took from another thread.

In fact, sometimes I see women wearing many rings and bracelets together which don't really go, but I always find myself fascinated with the combinations as much or more than with the individual pieces.
Thank you, Burmesedaze!I love how they are delicately designed and put together, matching your delicate top!
Here is a picture of the natural butterscotch necklace which I sold. It was lovely except on me, it brought out the yellow in my eyes and teeth lol! A tragedy because I LOVED the color! Alas, I can get away more with the darker amber colors. Which reminds me, I recently saw a small, fine faceted cherry amber beaded necklace which was seriously stunning. Does anyone have some of this that they'd like to share?

I have heard as beeswax amber which is a kind of hard wax that looks like amber. I knew of a lady who had a bangle made out of it and it smelled like beeswax too. Amazing that it's hard enough for a bangle! Is this what they call beeswax amber in the trade?
Cherry red, untreated, was the amber Burma was once known for. But since depleted or else mostly in Chinese hands.
I would so love to get my hands on some.
Oh me too! It's so beautiful! These beads were small, fine and glittery with a deep, cherry red! I believe that the Chinese market has really driven up the price of the Baltic amber too, and now copal, which is not really amber by many millions of years, is overwhelmingly sold as true amber. Is this what they call beeswax amber in the trade?
