Oh that cake! Now I have major chocolate cravings lol! And the ring! This picture gives away what joy and beauty surrounds! Simply gorgeous and delicious.

Today I’m into orange and black, with black jade bangle, (not pictured) yellow and white bangle, white Hetian river jade pendant and earrings, though the earrings are not as white as the disk. I’m relatively understated today.

Hehe that one sold! I managed to nab a rectangular 5ct one that he didn't post!

It so happens that this is what Instagram put on top of my page today - WWW. Sure enough, only the colours are the same & not even the tone: Taffin's 'chocolate' is much less dark & the purple much lighter & a very different species ... Come to think of it, this is more relevant to your purple jades, @Bluegemz.

JD will make the ring when I make my decision (see the new thread for my flapping!)! I really really really loved the end product of the two rings he's made me. Everything was spot on.

Wearing these chalcedony disk earrings, along with my large star sapphire ring. It’s early and overcast so there is no star. These pictures are a little washed out on color.

One more with more accurate color....though the bangle changes colors depending on light, as the sapphire does to a lesser extent, In later daylight, the blues in the bangle become more lavender like. This jade is fascinating because it really is an enigma with colors.

Thank you. I just instinctively reached for the pairing. I'd like to get piece of nice lavender jadeite to match with my pink sapphires next .... and the wish list grows.

It looks fabulous to me! I love a lot of gold too. The emerald is perfect with yellow gold. What an ancient and rich combination!

Yes, lavender jade would be perfect with your pink sapphires! Especially if you chose a violet hue with more pink rather than more blue. If you bought bluer lavenders, I find that those go with blue sapphires also very nicely. Maybe a little of both! Sigh...the list continues to grow with me too. I have about 5 things which I believe I ‘need’, and about 10 things which I would love to have, and many many more that i hope to have someday lol.

Lovely! That’s exactly what happens to me too. I have to force myself to wear the older things and I’ve been ignoring a big part of my collection lol!
