I love those settings @Burmesedaze! They look so good!
@Cockatiel if it makes you feel better the chip is super hard to find! You poor thing!
@chatoyancy definitely wearing the bangle!!! Still wondering if I should just eat a buffet in the tight red dress and then let my gut hang lol!
You ladies are giving me a complex with your spinel chipping!!!! I thought they were supposed to be tough!!!!!
May I ask you, is it a setting from Ivy and Rose/My Diamond Zone? I think I’m eyeing the same setting. What size is the spinel?
It's from the HK jewellers that visit here, but I won't be surprised if the design is found elsewhere too
About 1.8 ct iirc.
I just bought a medium pink spinel and I intend to have it set in a ring. Other than a small sapphire I already have set in a stacking ring, I don’t have any pink stones I can set in an every day ring. I’m disappointed for you and for me.
Your chrysoberyl is gorgeous! The setting is giving me ideas. The stone looks quite large. Mine is only a little over 2 carats. My husband and I never go on the night because the crowds are crazy.

Thanks! On an unrelated note, I still can't quite figure out how to read JD's pictures. Your stone looks a lot more "crystal" than I would have expected!
ooh what is "crystal"?
My three other stones look pretty much like the pictures a bit darker or lighter depending on lighting in the room.
This one actually doesn't have much green in it and the only hint of maybe green I sort of see is when it goes a lighter lemon yellow. Even then there is no obvious green. Looks like just ripen lemon skin if that makes sense. hehe I like yellow and loved green so I figure I was going to be ok with this one.
UGH so so sorry. Tile floors are hard. I can barely see the damage, maybe it can be polished out?
Sorry, I just saw this! Here you go. The 2.17 carat chrysoberyl is greenish yellow, but I think the earrings have more green in them. Unfortunately, it is cloudy here and I can’t take good photos.ooh can you post a picture of yours? I love this type of stone so much I am on a mantra to promote it! So much sparkle!!!!!
Thank you!@chatoyancy I LOVE THEM!!!! You got a good bit of green in yours!!!!! Lucky!
That is one of the prettiest amethysts I’ve seen! It’s my birthstone too
That is a cool ring! What kind of stone is that?
