Really gorgeous. I’ve always wanted a beautiful, spessartite ring in yellow gold. Yours is so pretty!
Thats a unique design.....and a LOT of gold too!!
Thank you, @suzanne2, for the compliment. This ring fulfills many CS ring desires which I had, all in one. Frex, when the star isn’t showing, it can be moonstone like, sometimes aquamarine like, and it goes everything. I discovered when I got it, that the domes in cabochons bend the light paths in such an interesting manner. A gem can have many moods, depending on the light. I think that this was my first translucent cabochon in a ring ever, and now I’m a huge fan!@Bluegemz that is such a lovely ring.
This is freaking gorgeous! Can I ask where you got it?
ETA. Is that spring flower fabric, from your Valentine's day pic, a dress? Because I just love that!!
A shop in Chinatown in Sydney Australia. They sell some really pretty stuff in very pretty designs if you're not too fussed about the cut of the diamonds (diamonds are lovely and sparkly but not super idea H&A if you know what I mean)!
Here you go, I dug up a full pic of the dress for you. This is from another time not the day I wore the necklace. The dress has pockets!!!!

Thankyou! The extreme cut and thinness of the stone is why I had to have it. I just have to be careful not to stab myself with it.Very elegant! I love how it looks on your hand. It's not too often that you see a marquise CS. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Sharon. Hands really tell a story about a life lived. Though, I admit that I’ve become more insecure about them as Ive gotten older, even though I admire older hands on others very much.Great ring. Such beautiful hands and fingers/nails!
cheers--Sharon
Is the bigger stone the garnet? I like the halo on that!!! We should sit around and form a club! "Creative Ways to Halo"
Hehe I have so many green dresses!!! Or dresses with green bits in them! Somewhere along the way I ceased caring about whether I actually look good in green! Just kept wearing it!
Thank you Suzzane! It was advertised as an imperial topaz, but if it is, it’s barely. It’s more of a pink and purple color, with a touch of peach. I would say it’s a pink topaz. Upon receiving it, I loved the color ( it can be very bright and fresh in daylight) and especially the design, so I kept it anyway.I love love love this ring! I have a pic saved and I was looking at it just yesterday. Didn't you say it's an imperial topaz?
