Fly Girl, I love the look of your rope and earrings with that shade of grey. And the different sizes of pearls, as well as the length make that rope so visually interesting.

Thanks. Just measured and its 18 inches. In comparison my blue akoya strand is 20 inches.

Just realized that my FWP drop is nearly 17 mm (based on quick eye comparison against my tahitian earrings). Really need to appreciate it more by wearing it more often. :cheeky:

I'm not normally a "pond slime" kinda gal -- but I have to admit that combo is funky in a very good way, and goes great with your shirt.
 
Thank you MZ and bsomlo. I don't own anything else in this color (the top) and I was about to return it when I tried it on with these pearls. I wore it for awhile and decided I loved it. Anybody else buy clothing because it complements your pearls :rolleyes: :lol: ?

I eyed this strand for a long time before actually purchasing it. When I finally got it, I gasped-- love it!!

Taking this "selfie" (which is hereby an official word in the Oxford dictionary!) was ridiculously hard. Ear and neck shot minus face -- in fading light...

Simple metallic drop earrings and pendant since my sundress has big bright flowers:

Today I wore my Kamoka Harvest Strand in the long form. I've taken a shine to the big round blue-grey pearl so it was centered today. Who knows which pearl will win my favor tomorrow? :naughty:

LitGeek -- Thanks! I haven't started a thread with my new metallic drops. I was on a wait-list having missed out on their first offering. I chose the 9 to 10 mm drops for earrings due to their luster (which doesn't show in the picture). I had wanted significantly larger -- but the quality of these smaller ones won out. The pendant is 11-12 mm. I adore this simple set. They enhance anything you wear and are lovely, light, elegant and understated. (But I would still have liked them significantly larger.)
 
bsomlo I would definitely choose luster over size too. I think the sizes you chose look fantastic on you! I was asking because I was looking into getting some drop earrings and a pendant and it is so hard to reference size with a number. I think I will probably go with similar sizes. Thanks for your help :wavey:
