What are you wearing today?!

Confection10 - I wish I had a box that the key would fit into!!! Wouldn't it be awesome!

Today I wore my green peacock Tahitian drop necklace with my Kamoka peacock Tahitian stud earrings. Photo taken on a winter morning with full light reflection from the 3 feet of snow in my back yard. :sun:

Fly Girl - You look beautiful in your green drop necklace and Kamoka studs! They go with everything!

Look! I'm layering!!! I still struggle with capturing pearls in the right light but I thought I'd share my Tahitian rope and tin cup! Oh and dangle earrings!

:appl: :appl: :appl: :appl: ! Great start, pkinnew! They are amazing together. I think only heaven is limit when layering pearls. If colours match together, different shapes don't matter, they will just make combination more interesting.

Thank you for your kind comments, pkinnew.

I love your photos of your Tahitians. What an awesome look with the two Tahitian necklaces and those nifty earrings. The best part of layering is not only do you look great, you also get to wear more of your pearls. :appl:

pkinnew -- That is an absolutely excellent job of layering! So complimentary -- and even the dangles are kind of "layered" so the whole look pulls together beautifully. I am very impressed and wish, as I often do with our forum, that I worked near you and could enjoy your pearls.

Since we all live in so many places my goal is to someday make it to the PP Ruckus!!! What fun!

I like to pair my POJ crazy liquid metallic nugget studs with my PP Tahitian/keshi necklace. Picture taken after sunset:

Awesome look. Glad you liked the idea. Love your ropes as well.

Eeek! Just had a peek at the pendant you chose and it is GORGEOUS    I can't wait for you to receive it!

PS - the layering of your Ts on the wearing thread looks fantastic :appl: :appl: :appl: And those earrings are swoon worthy! Wear did you purchase those beauties?

I love my soufflé from PP. It feels good with casual wear.

bsomlo - Your crazy liquid metallic nuggets are gorgeous and go great with your rope!

Confection10 - Great job on twisting your T's - they look divine!

LitGeek - I bought those earrings a few years ago from ShopNBC (now ShopHQ). Just couldn't resist them and they make a cute "clicking" noise when they move!

renwea - The colors in your souffle are lucious! I love the casual look!

Oh, that souffle is luscious!

bsomlo, I fell in love with your metallic studs and have asked Kevin at POJ to match me up a pair. He's sending me two pairs and I'm picking the one I like best.

SMC -- Pictures of your options pronto, please! I love to look at pearl photos!

I'm getting the circled 2 pairs sent to me and choosing the one I like best! Which do you think?

Great choices! I like the funkier shape of the first pair and the luster of the second pair. Basically, you can't go wrong. Post some shots in real life when you get them, please!

Today, my beautiful shortened triple lavender necklace with Hisano's custom earrings -- each pearl in the earring is a different shade, but matched with its pair:

Lol I am glad you figured out this is for you pkin! I thought I was posting under your blue SS thread  I can't believe you got those earrings at ShopHQ, they are so cool!

I totally agree with LitGeek -- those earrings are fantastic.

Can you give us more information about them? I think you did elsewhere but I don't remember the details.

I completely agree with bsomlo! Both are so pretty though  I am sure when you see them IRL one will speak to you more than the other. Looking forward to what you think when you receive them :wavey:

PS- I really love the longer length on my freshadamas. I love that I can wear them over a cashmere turtleneck sweater :twirl: :twirl: :twirl:

bsomlo swooning over your lavenders

Today it was my mixed whites--South Sea, moonstone and diamond earrings from Stephen Vincent Design along with a 32" endless freshwater strand from Pearl Paradise.

Bsomlo - Your lavenders look amazing with your blue top. :appl:

I gotta figure out a way to wear my metallic lavenders tomorrow. :naughty:

Fly Girl -- Fantastic! I especially love the earrings!

Fly Girl What a perfect combination :appl: :appl: :appl: I am seriously drooling over your moonstone and wSS earrings    They are spectacular!!!

Pkinnew- the design of those Tahitian round and drop earrings look very cool
Fly girl - I love your moonstone-pearl earrings. It is a beautiful variation of your fabulous wss-moonstone ring. Are they from the same jeweler?
Bsomio - the metallic lavenders r gorgeous. U have many triple strands!

YC, they aren't metallic, actually. Though they look metallic in some photos.

Triples are my favorite.
