I picked up this pendant from Minneapolis designer T Lee last week. Pendant is 14 kt yellow gold with an 11mm bluish silver white South Sea near round high luster pearl I sourced from IndoSea Pearls on etsy. I paired it with my Sea of Cortez pearl earrings sourced from Agustus on eBay, and my silver blue Sea of Cortez ring from Sarah at Kojima Pearl. I love the silver blue pearls with my new grey t-shirt from Elliott Lauren. It is finally warm enough to wear t-shirts here.

Wow. Love it. Super clean and sleek. Did you or T Lee come up with the design?

The design is one of T Lee's stock designs. She has the molds for this pendant in three different sizes, depending on the pearl size. You can place the pearl as I did, or attach it inside of the large circle. I preferred the negative space of the large circle for my pendant. You can also vary the metal. The circles and arcs are characteristic of many of T's designs. One of the bench workers there owns this pendant in white gold with a dark Tahitian that looks amazing. I had been admiring that pendant design in all its wonderful variations in her shop displays for several years, and when I got this gorgeous silver blue South Sea pearl, I decided it was time to get my own piece. I preferred yellow gold, and T agreed that it makes this pretty pearl pop.

Beautiful earrings, YC. I loved looking over IndoSea Pearls when she was more active. She had pretty pearls, great photos and excellent descriptions. You really knew what you were getting.

love_paradise, WSS are white South Sea pearls and are salt water. Catherine Cardellini, with rare exceptions, works with Chinese freshwater pearls. These days you can get high luster pearls of either kind. I've said it before, but I think time will show that right now we are living in a period of exceptional pearl availability, quality and good prices.

So much has happened here in pearl forum since last weekend. Gorgeous pearls and couple of new member; welcome cyndayco and love paradise . Here in Finland summer started last week and here's quite hot. I have spent evenings out on our back yard. I love this heat!

Katbran, that's a good question. Maybe partly due to the more formal length, partly because white round pearls aren't what I want to wear most days, and mostly because they are very special and I want to take good care of them and only wear them on special occasions. But I should wear them more often.

This is my cream druzy/rosebud/granulated pearl rope from Kojima Pearl. It's about 38". I paired it with sweet earrings from Catherine Cardellini, which are a surprisingly nice match.

Today, I am wearing a new Tahitian ring from pp. I bought the pearl after seeing 4ranchgirl photos from her recent trip to pp. Irl, the pearl is dark grey most of the time but the lighting in the photo seems to bring out its nice blue overtone. If only I can stay in that lighting conditions at all times to admire the pearl!
