what color shawls for wine/maroon BM dresses?

my bm dress are a rich wine color (long and strapless) and our wedding will be traditional and formal (eek, it''s getting close..it''s end of september).

anyway, one of my bm''s asked what color i would suggest for a pashmina shawl for if/when it gets cool. i hadn''t thought of that at all..what do you guys think? black, wine to match, tan?

Personally, I love the look of a deep wine colour wtih a rich cream colour... mmmm.

well the pashmina would only be on for when we''re outside and about. the bouqets will be soft peaches and some reds/creams to tie it in.
her shoes are black..

Hmm...I had a similar color scheme...if you''re not afraid of metallics, a goldish color would look nice.

But, ya know, sophisticated gold, not Solid Dance gold.

Sept is usually still pretty warm so i would say a cream/ivory would be the best complimetn
but......

If it''s late Sept and a fall-ish theme i would say a rich tone like a dark brown

I like angora (the light peach) but there are a lot of pretty soft colors.

I think you cannot go wrong with a champagne, ivory, black, or metallic, like a bronze that has a hint of crimson in it.
