That one is the only pic they sent. But the ring arrives tomorrow, so hopefully if the light is good, I''ll be able to get some nice pics from different angles, and some hand shots. I had it for one day last week, but it was too big...

. I sent it back right away to be re-sized, because I was afraid I''d loose it! I didn''t want to take any pics of it that day, because it didn''t look right being so big on my finger.

This was the first time I''ve bought any major jewelry online, site unseen. I''ve looked at J colored stones before and have thought they looked nice, but I was still nervous about purchasing one over the ''net. It looks really really great...better than I expected I have to say. Now I want a diamond bracelet!

I had never seen one in person, either. I had seen a few pictures on the eye candy folder and completely fell for the Vatche settings. Especially the Royal Crown. So I decided to buy one. I started out with the .53 carat stone, but I am sure if I like it as much as I think I''m going to like it...I will upgrade it eventually to a 1.0 or a 1.5. I can''t see myself with a bigger stone, but who knows? I have very small hands and I just think really large stones look weird on me. Maybe I should buy a really big CZ and wear it for a while and get used to seeing a big stone on my finger and I will change my mind and go for a huge rock...lol!

I recently had my .75 reset in a yellow gold tulipset. Now that I have this one, I regretted setting it set in yellow gold. So, I went back to the store and asked if they would switch out the yellow gold setting for white gold, and the manager said yes! The jeweler has been on vacation for the past couple of weeks, and he''s getting back next week and he''ll swap the settings when he gets back. Then I''ll have two nice diamonds to wear, one in yellow and one in white. That has been one of my jewelry goals BTW.

I think I've finally decided on a 18k yellow gold band with 9 prong-set diamonds in it. I'm just unsure of what size diamonds will best complement my center stone (it is 1.37 carats) but still provide lots of bling. Oh, how much fun it is to have such problems!

BTW, did you send your ring to Vatche to do the re-sizing? I need to re-size my ring as well, but I'm not sure if I should take it to a local jeweler for convenience sake or ship it to Vatche.

I sent mine back to Whiteflash, where I originally bought it. They set the stone in the first place, and are authorized to do so by Vatche. That way the guarntee is still valid. When the ring came and was too big, I contacted Whiteflash and they recommended that I send it back to them to do the resizing.

They asked me to send it registered insured USPS. They got it in two business days, did the resize, and overnight ship it back to me via Fedex. The whole thing cost me only the price of the postage...$16. That is way less expensive than it would have cost me to have the work done at my local jeweler. And it was no inconvenience.

As far as the wedding band...I already have two that I will wear interchangebly. One is a plain gold 8mm band, the other is a 1.0 ctw 6 stone band ring. Both look nice with the ring.

I will have to look for yours in the thread! We do have good taste, don't we?

It''s like a curse!!! I got my ering and now I just want more diamonds!!!!!! I want different shapes and sizes, I want a pendant, some earrings, more rings, a bracelet, I''m sick!!

I am in LOVE with Vatche''s Royal Crown!! I also know a girl who''s ering is yg with plat prongs too - hers is a 6-prong tiffany setting. The white prongs really make her diamond pop - great choice!!
