What do you think about the Nigerian sapphire?

Hello everyone.

I bought one sapphire 7.90ct. from vendor. It's look very nice good color and luster.
After I make certificate, the resault come out heated and Nigeria origin.
So I would like to ask your opinion about
1) How about the popularity in the market when compare with the Cylon sapphire?
2) How about the rarily when compare with the other sapphires?

It depends on which market you are selling to. Some people only care about the origin and will pay more for it regardless of colour. Some people only care about the colour and will not pay any markup for origin. Some want both; good colouration and origin.

Really really dark. I have a kyanite that looks the exact same size, shape and color.

With the exception of some Madagascar material, most African sapphires are not held in the same esteem as Asian stones (Burma, Kashmir Ceylon).
