About Diamond in the Rough®:
In an age where nature has been sliced, sculpted, processed, and cloned into unrecognizable form, Diamond in the Rough rebels. Combined with distinctive, modern settings, each handcrafted piece showcases the natural, unique beauty of uncut diamonds. Founder Daniel Eskapa and DITR''s president, Anjanette Clisura, personally select each conflict free certified stone, ensuring unparalleled quality.

Who would waste their money on those. I think people start to buy that stuff when they have soooo much money they don't know what to do with it; if I had that problem I rather give it to charity.

I was watching something like nbc today saying that rough is becoming tready. I rather have untrendy sparkle.

I think that there are some beautiful pieces of jewelry out there using rough ... but I don''t think these are them. Something about the mass-produced "gift-wrapped" look of the DitR line irks me - the beauty of working with rough lies in the unique elements of each individual piece of rough, and these settings ignore that.

While I am sure that there are those who would, I do not care for those at all.

Certainly not sparkalicious.

Did not like those they looks bleugh

To me it defeats the purpose...................I''m all about the sparkle.

The ring, ick. The bracelet I thought was kinda pretty till I saw it cost $16K!!!!!! For that price I''d rather have sparkly cut stones!

I like older diamonds, old mine cut and rose cut, even nearly-raw stones. I like funky modern things. And even I''m not crazy about these.

At least the bracelet knows what it''s trying to say; "I have SO MUCH taste that I don''t have to wear diamonds that most people understand, and I have SO MUCH money that I can afford the diamonds that match my avant-garde aesthetic."

The necklace seems conflicted. "I, uh, I like diamonds! Here''s a big shiny rock in shiny gold wrapped up in shiny diamonds. I''m different but not too different, plus I''m, like, rilly expensive."

Also, I was going to make an expensive avant-garde jewelry statement, I wouldn''t start it by shopping at Bergdorf''s, I''d go straight to the jeweler or to an art-jeweler gallery.

There''s a sucker born every minute...PT Barnum

I have been wondering if people really buy these. It seems like such a rip off. I see it as a good way to get rid of rough that is either too off color or too badly included to warrant cutting into a gem. Still the prices are so high. I personally don''t get it at all.

I saw these pieces when I was in BG and they did not stand out at all compared to other beautiful jewelry on display. I give credit to some marketing concept to make something DIFFERENT... but I would rather wear costume jewelry or fun David Yurman stuff over this any day of the week. Plus- my goodness- the prices??? Ridiculous!

These aren''t for me even if I had that kind of money. Give me well cut, faceted gems any day of the week.
