I have not yet read this thread, but I own and have never worn a .75 carat Whiteflash diamond pendant. I bought it for my daughter's 16th birthday but never gave it to her because she cut up jewelry and pushed it down the drain. Including a gold charm bracelet I had had painstakingly made for her and Tiffany 18K gold pieces. I have considered selling it. It was made especially for me with a special bail because I didn't want mine attached to the chain.
What I wear when I want to wear a pendant is a stone that is over 2 carats. I had it made into a pendant when i went through a (short-lived) phase when I was too embarrassed to wear a stone "that big" as a ring. Now I only wish I could afford a 3 carat ring with the specs I want, but I cannot!

PS-I just noticed that someone wrote above that she wouldn't wear a pendant larger than her e-ring. Maybe she meant for everyday? My usual solitaire is 1.67 carats. I am comfortable in that. The over 2 carat stone at one point felt too big on my hand. (I know, I was crazy.) But it felt fine as a pendant to me. In fact, it is bezeled and I wear it with 18K gold wires at times as it is set on wire.
