It’s unanimous Number five was my pick as well. I loved the fire it threw in the video, the crisp arrows I could see, and the extra precision it seemed to have all over.

Given how white the G’s looked, I wouldn’t hesitate to consider down to I or maybe even J next time, especially if I was planning to bezel the stone.

I’m secretly glad I ended up with the .72 stone, as the numbers have sentimental meaning to me. It’s part of the reason I asked for a blind test - I didn’t want to be swayed towards it.

Next up is getting it set in its pendant! I’ve decided to do a fixed bezel pendant with milgrain. It’ll be my first “fixed” pendant but I’m not too worried about it traveling around my neck as that happens with all of my pendants anyway no matter how they’re set

I can’t wait to get this baby! My BG recut earrings should be here late next week and this necklace shortly afterwards and then I’ll be all super-precision-cut-blingtastic!!!

I think you’ll be happy with a fixed pendant. Mine is prong set and not bezeled but I love that it stays in one place..unlike others I have that slide all over the place!

I’m letting HPD take care of it all. I’m doing a rose gold chain with a white gold bezel. Rose gold blends very well with my skin so the diamond should almost look like it’s floating in my jugular notch

Any photos to share would be appreciated. As would opinions on fixed vs sliding pendant design.

I changed my .66ct bezeled pendant into a larger, halo’d pendant that is more suited for special occasions and I’m toying with getting a replacement “everyday” pendant but not sure what size to get. I’m thinking between .75-.9ish carat, but wonder if that might be too large?

Mine is .44 or .46 ct, can't recall. But it's perfect for me. I never take it off.

Yeah, the bezel does that! It's from Blue Nile and the culet is covered, which is nice. no poking. it was listed as 16", but I think it's closer to 15"

I have a .17 DBTY. I love it even if it's small and my husband was very proud that "he bought the biggest one they had." I didn't know the .17 was now their biggest size. I'm sentimental and it's the meaning behind it that matters to me.

That said, I think .30 is more ideal of a size. I think it would be pointless to get another diamond pendant, so I'm getting a blue or pink diamond from lightbox when they come out.

I used to have a .72 ags0 bezelled diamond pendant. Then with increased time on pricescope and desire for something different I added another .99 ct celebration cut stone. It doubles as a bracelet charm. It’s big and bling and I get a lot of compliments and comments.
