Now, take the picture Skippy posted and visualize the area where the halo is as WG, polished, with ribbon prongs.
What do you think??
lol That''s the V part that connects the halo/diamond portion to the chain.Date: 7/24/2007 11:02:42 AM

Ellen, I am the 20th! Our pick of birthstones includes blue zircon, aquarmarine, blue topaz, tanzanite and turqouise. Not sure if I am missing anything. Skippy, when is your bday? Ellen, being that close to the holidays stinks.
I agree w/Miss. Belle. I think it would look lovely on you in jeans. Honest!Date: 7/24/2007 11:46:46 AM

okay, i have been trying to get a good rendition of a plain settng but....well.....i suck at photoshop, so i got nuthin'.
i'm not saying this because i can't photoshop (really) but i think the diamonds add just the little bit of pizazz to make it special. are you sure you don't want some diamonds in thar?
Well, that''s the thing, he may not have been, as it USED to BE Dec''s. and it was the ONLY one. Somewhere along the way, somebody decided to change things. I have no idea why.Date: 7/24/2007 11:51:12 AM

I think aqua might be wrong, but the other three are correct, and lapiz too. A jeweler told me aqua was one (trying to sell me something?)...but we have a lot of choices!
I scrapped them, as I just wanted a really plain pendant.Date: 7/24/2007 1:41:12 PM

Ellen, what ever you do I know it will be beautiful! All I have seen in your collection is lovely!
You have that beautiful ring from your mom. Also, your aqua, your earrings, that EC and I am sure you have a few more up your sleeve.Date: 7/24/2007 11:36:49 PM

Sorry, chiming in late. I say keep it simple. Simple simple simple. SIMPLE. Hang it vertically in a pendant. No bags.

Or just leave it a ring & build up something around it for $200 to $400 @ a local pawn shop

Dee, does anyone in particular pop in your head for making this? or should I just get quotes from a few and go with cheapest?

I would poll the usual suspects and go with the one that is most reasonable in terms of cost and turn around time. If anybody promises you the pendant for $5 and done in a day though I would run!

oooooh, I am interested in this project, and who you pick to set it. I just bought a stone and I am facing the same dilemma.
