I have a necklace and veil that I''m not sure on. Specifically, I think the necklace might be too long (and maybe not enough sparkle), and although I like the veil, I''ve seen one on ebay that has rhinestones instead of the pearl-like beads, and I wonder if that would look better too.

Here''s a full length of me in the dress with the necklace on.

Here''s the back of the dress, or at least my attempt at it.

This one might be better of the back...

Okay, here''s a close up of the necklace.

And another...please excuse the fact that I haven''t gotten alterations yet and the top is too big.

Here is the veil up against the detail of the bodice. This is what makes me think something sparkly on the veil would be better...

Another full length...whoops, I think I forgot to take a full length with the veil on...what length of veil do you think would work best, one that comes to the elbow or finger-tip? I definitely don''t want cathedral length.

And finally, for those of you following my shoe saga...here are the shoes I''ve decided to go with. I know the color isn''t the best match, but I didn''t want the dye-ables, and these are just so dang comfy!

Here are the shoes I liked but were just too painful!

And last one, I promise...here are the blue shoes that I still haven''t ruled out...they match the bridesmaid dresses and are really comfy too!

The necklace is perfection! And I actually really like the shoes you chose too. I can''t really tell with the veil. I''ll leave that to the other gals.

I really like the necklace, and I like the shoes you chose over the blue ones. The blue is so dark that it looks black in the photos, and I would fear the same thing might happen for the wedding photos!

As for the veil, can you try and get a full length shot of it? I found when I was trying on veils with my dress at the store (before I ordered it - I''m waiting for it to come in so I can do some REAL veil shopping

) that some of the elbow length veils ended right at my waist. In my case the extra visual weight, particularly for the ribbon edged veils, took away from the slimming effect of the gown - not good in my book! I definitely preferred the fingertip length for that reason. However, your height and where you put the veil comb in your hair will affect where the veil lands, so.... we must see pictures!

Now that I''ve seen the necklace with the dress I LOVE it! I thought it was pretty when I saw it in person, but I think it looks perfect with the dress.

From the pics you posted of the veil I like that too, but I agree that we need full length shots.

Rhinestones can come out black in some photos apparently, so I would probably go with pearls.

Ditto.

I think that necklace looks great, but agree with the rest of the bunch that we need a full length of the veil. As far as the shoes go, I think it''s great you found two pairs that you love and are comfy. The blue ones ARE very dark and show up kinda black in the photo, but your dress looks like it''s not really going to show your shoes in pictures unless you make a point of it, or maybe dancing/action shots. I was at a wedding where the bride had a beautiful white with red accents dress, and she had on black shoes. I''m pretty sure I''m the only one who actually even noticed, and that was because I like to see what shoes brides choose to wear for their wedding day :) They were cute shoes, but didn''t match the dress at all (In my opinion of course), but her reasoning was that she wasn''t going to spend a bunch of cash on shoes she was never going to wear again and that no one would see. So she just used a comfy pair that she already owned. Anyways, the point of my ramble is, I think either shoe looks great!!

Necklace: Perfect!

Shoes: #1. I wouldn''t go with #2 if they''re not comfy, and #3 looks too dark.

Veil: I agree that we need a full-length shot... As for elbow vs fingertip, I think that with your dress fingertip would look better.

I'm nuetral on the necklace. It's nice but doesn't really wow me.

I love the veil-- from what I can see from the pics (need more pics, please).

I really don't like the shoes. (Sorry).

Can we do more shoe shopping for you? There are a TON of metallic shoes out right now (I know as I've tried on about 2000 of them for the olive gown for the NYE wedding I'm attending, I ended up with olive shoes for 30 bucks on sale!) can we please find you a lovely and affordable pair of different shoes. Please?

Budget and size and heel height?

Thanks All!
Unfortunately, since the dress and all accessories are now being stored at my Dad''s in Pitt., I won''t be able to get any more photos until Christmas. I tried to take one of the back with the veil on, but the dress got all twisted around, so I''ll probably have to have someone help take the pics for me. The current veil is finger tip length, and I just worry that since it comes down to my butt, from the back it would make me look too short. I actually miss having my dress here in my closet, isnt'' that funny?

Gypsie, I''m pretty stuck on the shoes. What in particular don''t you like about them? And if you insist

on looking for more (I love shoes, so I''ll always at least look...) I''m looking for size 7.5 WIDE or size 8, with at least a 3.5 inch heel, and my budget was around $100.

I love the dress and the necklace because you don''t want to overpower the gorgeous beading on the dresss with more bling. Sorry I can''t see enough of the veil to provide a valid opinion.

Sorry, though, you can do better with different shoes

. I like the look of silver if you''re dead set against white. Hopefully, you''ll get some great suggestions

Hi Sabine, I just don''t like the color. I think that ideally silver or if not not silver then pewter would be ideal. I''ll see what I can find.

Here are a few from Zappos... they are all different styles cause I wasn''t sure what you wanted.

Gypsy, the shoes I have are pewter. I decided against a flat silver because I just don''t think it looks right up against the ivory of the dress.

I may be the only one here who does, but I love the idea of the navy shoes. On my monitor they look navy rather than black. Plus, I am biased because I have seen this done with a different shade of blue. The brides shoes matched the bridesmaid dresses. Her dress covered them for the most part, but they did a picture of her with her bridesmaids where her shoes showed, and it sure did make for a cool picture.

Those are pewter? Wow. Cause from both my monitors (work and laptop) they look brown. Nevermind then. :-)
