I''ve never bought anything from ebay before, but I really like the color of this stone. Plus I''ve never bought a loose stone before, so I would appreciate some opinions.

Plus I''m concerned about the buyer and their feedback...

Nineteen views and no opinions? C''mon guys!!! I know it''s cheap but it still looks pretty in the pictures...

It''s just because we''re all a bit scared of EBay....nyuk nyuk

Yeah, what she said! ^ Plus I''m terrible at telling what a colored stone really looks like from a picture on the computer. I have to see them IRL. Sorry.

This voice keeps telling me in the back of my head: "Its less than THIRTY DOLLARS!! Just DO IT!"

And I''m scared of that voice. That''s the voice that convinced me to buy 2 pairs of shoes today! The shoes are FANTASTIC though!

Listen to that inner voice. Honestly ebay is risky when buying colored stones. If you can lose the 30 bucks then go for it. But you may be dissapointed in what actually arrives in your package.

Yeah...that''s the thing, I am getting a nice little tax return though, and I could probably spare the $30. But still...It''s from Thailand and for some reason that makes me uneasy. hmmm...18 minutes left...

It looks pretty but I''m not sure I''d buy a stone from ebay.

Not going to do it. I love the color, but I''ve got too many heebie jeebies about it in general.

Luster = Marvelous...

ROFL!!!

I know Dee Jay isn''t that awesome? I looked at a few other stones from Thailand and they said the same thing. What the cr4p is that about?

I know the auction already ended, but I looked at the stone, and two things bugged me: the big-ass window in the middle shot, and the color zoning around the edges. I bet in person it looks a lot less green, and kind of streaky. Pretty much worth the $4.75 it went for (before the $22 shipping, yikes!).

That said, I bought a few cheap stones from eBay a while ago. Don''t know what I''ll do with them, but at least I''m getting to know what NOT to look for in a quality stone!

If it''s too good a bargain - it''s not a bargain.

The only rocks I buy on ebay are either antique pieces from dealers I have bought from in the past or who have great feedback, or else I buy testing pieces where I don''t care about colour or cut - they just have to be natural and included!

I only buy with PayPal and I use toolhaus to check them out.
