Here is my aqua asscher cut by Peter Torraca. What do you think about it?

The patterns show up nicely! What''s the specs?:)

I like that stone plenty! Love the pic with the rough right next to it.

What are your plans for it?

"Aquamarine. 2.63ct, 8.49x8.47x6.44mm. Asscher. The rough for this stone was very hard to aquire -- all the aqua rough I could find was either suited for a square cut, or deep enough for an asscher, but not both. This is a choice medium aqua and should look fantastic as a ring or pendant."

That is Peter''s description. I''ve had this beauty for almost a year and have no idea what to do with it.

Lori, it's beautiful! I love it :)

I think you should set it.

What do you want it in? Ring, necklace?

Beautiful!

For the record, white metal.

Think Ellen''s aqua Lori:

Lori,
I hope you meant it when you asked for opinions. While the cutting is great, I think the aqua itself looks almost devoid of colour.

I''m sorry, but I agree with the above. Color doesen''t wow me either, but the cutting is really great. If you were looking for something more on the silvery/pastel side in the first place, you did find a great stone. In the right setting it could look quite amazing.

Very nice.

This is a beautiful stone IRL. I don''t know how to set it as I''m afraid to send it out. Ellen''s ring is beautiful inspiration, though!

I asked for honest opinions and I meant it!

My preference is color and cut...the combo does it for me.

Lori, what do you mean, "I''m afraid to send it out"? Do you mean that you want someone local to set it?

Where abouts are you located?

She''s very close to Houston I believe.

Simple then, hand carry it to BGD. Or Whiteflash I suppose, although BGD would be my first choice.

I''d use Ellen''s ring as inspiration. I hope you do live close to WF and BGD! I know how you feel about sending a stone away once you''ve gotten attached to it!
