What does the following tell me about the performance of the rock?

Selected: 61.9% depth, 57.3% table, 35.3° crown angle, 40.9° pavilion angle
The result is for a symmetrical diamond with a medium girdle and very good polish
HCA scores were adjusted Dec. 15, 2001 and Feb. 6, 2003.

Factor Grade
Light Return Very Good
Fire Very Good
Scintillation Very Good
Spread
or diameter for weight Very Good
Total Visual Performance 2.8 - Very Good - Worth buying if the price is right

It means it is not likely to be as good as excellent or less than 2.0.

HCA is a rejection tool, not a selection tool. This stone is much better than average, and would quailfy for current AGS 0 ideal cut, but I doubt it would be a candidate next year when they revise the system.
