...Sandia_Rose?

Does anyone know??

KTF: i have been thinking the SAME thing for a while now...at 1st I just thought she was really busy since her SO was planning on adding on the the house etc...but its actually starting to erck me a bit...I even did a search today to see if she has made any recent posts...its like the girls just disapeared!

Yeah she hasn''t been around for a while - last post was 12th April. Hope she is doing ok.

L

Good question........

And Erin too...remember, she was proposed to at Disney World. No post since, I think....

I haven''t been here long, but does that happen often? Women get engaged and then never return? Interesting. Its possible some just need the LIW support group...

LS - Erin did post an update in May but nada since. Its a shame as I always found her posts uplifitng and highly supportive

Im not sure I could ever leave this place now. lol! Even after an engagement. This forum is great for so many things and everyone is so wonderful and supportive here.

(though, when I get too carried away here I have thought about taking a day or two break away from the forum) lol

Ditto!

Yeah it happens a lot. It''s not just the LIW board. Sometimes it happens on BWW and other boards too.

I hope SR comes back soon and tht she is ok and Erin will maybe post on BWW eventually?!?!?! They were both wonderful contributing members to our community!

I know. When I first started there was a girl named blue roses I would love to get an update from. She finally, after like 10 years, left the guy who was never going to get serious and then stopped posting. I would love to hear if she has found someone who is worthy of her yet.

I''d love to know what happened with her. Didn''t he come back and propose to her and then we never heard from her again.

I always wonder about the "disappeared" PSers as well. *shrugs* But I guess it''s just one of life''s mysteries we''ll never know.

I didn''t join until after blue roses got engaged, but I remember reading her whole story (I forget how I ran across it) and when I read her proposal, I seriously bawled. Like a baby! It''s so funny how you become attached to the "strangers" online.

I was on a forum before I found PS that was a support board for women who were dating men with cold feet and I felt like i was so much more forthcoming with all of my fears, frustrations and emotions with those women than anybody in real life simply because they could all relate in a way that others couldn''t, you know? Anyway, I know that when I got engaged, the first place I went after calling family was to post on that board. I think these types of communities provide such valuable insight and support and you really do become attached to people and want to see how they are doing.

I hope Sandia_Rose comes back! I would often find that women who were on the brink of leaving the relationship would "hybernate" and only surface when something happened, whether it was a breakup or an engagement. I interviewed a few of these women when I was doing research for a book and they would say they refrained from posting because they were embarrassed about still being in the same situation, which I completley understand. It''s like you don''t want anybody to know how stuck you are. But it''s completely normal.

I think of Blue Roses often. She was one of my best pals on here! We were both obsessed with Octagonal Pave Halos.

Every time I see one of those broadway try-out reality shows I wonder if she is one of the contestants! Hope she is happily married by now & working on a baby blue rose.

Wishing all the lost/absent/mysterious ladies all the best!

I was looking at some older posts (did a board search, can''t even remember what for right now) the other day and I was wondering where she was too. Hope she''s doing well.

i am now engaged and i still check this forum daily.. hhahah... i am interested in how you girls are doing and your progress! plus i love looking at diamonds ...

There''s always a ton of fly by''s. Amusingly, Erin''s last post (I think, I haven''t checked her actual last post) was one insisting she wasn''t a fly by.

I''ve seen a lot of people come and go in my time here...even the ones who say they''ll never leave. Just the way it is...

Yeah I bet you have. You''ve been around for quite a while!

There was also squeaksluv? I think that started dating her ex-FI''s BFF, but then she got coldfeet, and then once posted a line about how so many things had changed or something but didnt give any details.

Oh and another I can''t remember her name (avatar was dharma and greg i think), but her BF had the ring (which she had ordered with his permission and credit card from WF) for over a year and they lived together, and then one day she just stopped posting, it was right around the time of a thread about living together and why the buy cow if you get the milk for free. Maybe she just got tired of his lack of action and moved out?

I do often wonder about Blueroses too. Oh I miss her!

aw, I only have posted here a handful of times, but I check PS often to see what''s going on with everyone--even though I rarely posted (and when I have, it''s been for advice--which I have gotten in spades, and was greatly appreciated), I feel like I know you girls. You are all so smart and insightful.

I got engaged a couple of months ago, but I''ve also been studying for the bar exam, so I haven''t really had the time to be on here or posting...but you should know that there''s a lurker here who thinks you''re all swell

I dont see myself being on here after I get engaged...I find this a great escape from all the anxiety I feel being a LIW. I don''t even look at the rings and other info. on this site... just this actually. I do comment on a few nice rings, the one I''m hoping to get in particular on "Show me the ring" but that''s about it. I am strictly on here for LIW support :)

I hope BlueRoses is doing terrific. She was here for a VERY long time too. The last post mentioned a wedding dress though, so I assume it all went well. I cried like a baby too though at her proposal.

Actually the only thing that keeps me here these days is the Healthy Lifestyle Thread, and I occassionally lurk elsewhere.
