I know this is probably crazy to be asking about someone from so long ago, but I keep running across his thread. THIS ONE
I can''t find where or if he ever came back with the pics of it, which I would love to see... I also don''t know who the gf was/is, but I guess she was a LIW. Does anyone know that happened to him or her, and if a pic ever got posted?

I just found his whole thread so interesting. He clearly loved his girl sooo much and he seemed so sweet. I am just trying to imagine a girl getting a 9ct when she was expecting a 1ct. Crazy!!! I know if my bf showed up with a 9ct I would probably keel over from a heart attack!!

Anyone know the scoop on this?

i followed your link and read leadfoot''s posts. do you think he was for real? i kind of got the impression it may have been a hoax. what do you think? i am going to check and see if he had more than what i read in that thread.

I thought it counded ligit bc he said his girl was a LIW and that''s why he was waiting for the pics. A lot of the regulars were on that thread with him, helping him. So, I was hoping one of them could chime in. He just didn''t come off like the other hoax people that come and go. Who knows!

If I recall, she was posting too and saying she wanted a smaller stone, and he sold his car or something to get this for her?

I think he just disappeared, not sure if we ever knew if he gave her the ring or not.
