What happened to Loupe Troop?

Mods, feel free to delete if this doesn't belong. I was wondering what happened to Loupe Troop. It's been down for a couple of days. Does anyone know where else we can go to sell jewelry? I tried signing up for Diamond Bistro a while ago but couldn't because I didn't receive the verification email.

Im sorry cant answer your original question about loupe troop, but i had the same thing happen to me on diamond bistro. And now i cant open an account at all bc if i try to set one up, it says my email address is already being used! If you find out a solution, pls post it here?

Me too....it says they’re updating their website but that’s it.

Yeah, same here. I tried to use a different email address, and still didn't get a verification email. I tried doing "Forgot Password" but no reset email came. I emailed their customer service team and also no response.
 
Are we allowed to just post things for sale here on this forum? Interested buyers can just message here or sellers could just list their email address. It's not like Loupe Troop had PayPal integration so buyers/sellers had to exchange email addresses anyway. I'm asking because sometimes I see people say things like, "I'm selling this and you can find my link at LoupeTroop" - why go through LoupeTroop?

Technically to sell here you are supposed to also have an LT link because there is no PM function on this forum and you aren't allowed to post your email. But obviously right now you are free to list without the LT link bc it's down.
 
How to communicate for new listings if posting email isn't allowed?

.....Oddly the other badder less polite Bruce Springsteen online community is also down ...... (i don't visit that one, its too cut throat)
 
I found diamondbistro to be reliable and easy to use. Have been on there for years. Lately though their messaging system has been wacky by keeping the message but not notifying me that there was one.
Sorry you can’t get on. Hopefully LT will be back shortly and maybe be more user friendly. :pray:

I got in early this morning but it's down again. Maybe it'll be back soon!

Nope. It’s weird how some people are able to access it for a short amount of time. It’s a real bummer that it isn’t back yet!

I hope it comes back soon! I can't log in to Diamond Bistro either and have nowhere to list things! My motivation comes and goes, so I was hoping to jump while I had the energy. :)

I also hope it’s back up and running soon, after buying a new car this week there are some pretties I’d like to sell. Rather have the $$ in the bank than in a jewelry box
 
People can create an anonymous IG account and post item details in pre-loved. If anyone is interested they can send a DM and let the seller know in the pre-loved thread, because IG doesn't always notify you of DMs unless you follow each other.
 
What if instead of LT, you list on a local Craigslist and then post the link in preloved? At least Craigslist has a way to protect your email address and you don’t need an account to respond to a listing.

Disclaimer: it’s been 3 years since I used it last.
