What have I found? Garnet?

Wondering if I've found quartzitic gneiss with garnets and whether it has any value other than as a curiosity.

I have no idea what that might be but its worth is only whatever you make it out to be (a curiousity/fun item) due to the clarity and shape of the specimen.
