Probably my tennis bracelet. I dont have pics of it, but its a 5.10 carat classic rb line bracelet in 18K WG. I adore it. Woo that was a splurge...

I got my pear in 1990. (3.56 E color vvs1 with tapered baguettes. The baguettes brought the total weight up to 3.64.) However but--I got myself bigger things in thev 1970''s and 1980''s which would probably have cost more than the pear if I had bought them in the 1990''s.

Nice! Pictures, pretty please.

Madam Bijoux, can you please share the rest of your bigger things. I'm dying to see them

Too many to mention, I may end up in divorce court.

Kaleigh....hee hee.

In the eleven years I was married (many many moons ago) I never bought ONE piece of "real" jewelry for myself. Just like my mother before me, I thought "real" jewelry had to be purchased by the husband as a gift to his wife. (Maybe THAT'S why I got divorced!

Anyhoo, I suspect that family custom contributed to my going bonkers over jewelry AFTER my divorce!...buying stuff for myself was like asserting my independence.

Hi Kaleigh, that's why I said the MOST expensive piece (ok, set is acceptable too), not "pieces" or like you said or we'd all end in divorce court.

I just got back from vacation on Sunday and my jeweller delivered my diamond bracelet yesterday (matching earrings not ready yet) and I just know DH will kill me when he finds out about the earrings. He just reminded me about our investment/retirement fund last night when he saw the bracelet. My jolly days of impulse jewellery buying will come to an end VERY soon....

widget, you're too funny but I totally agree. The ability to buy one's own jewellery when so desired is a clear sign of independence to me.

Hi! I don''t have a digital camera or a scanner yet, but I''ll be sure to post pics when I get one. (I have a mental block about spending money on anything but jewelry!)

12 years ago I bought this ring for myself for my 30th b-day. Every 5 years I buy a special b-day gift for myself.Too bad I have to wait 3 more years before my next one

My 1.70 ctw round diamond stud earrings. 85 points each ear, 6 mm. I''ve waited a long time for these, and I feel naked without them! Now on to the pendant.....
