What is this hallmark?

I have a ring that is marked "14K Pall". What does the Pall mean?

I''m not 100% certain about this, but I believe that means that it is 14K gold with palladium. Since gold is always used with other metals, that stamp, I think, indicates that the "other metal" is palladium and not zinc or one of the "more common" metals.
