What is your birthstone, do you like it?

Mine is pearl or moonstone or alexandrite. So many beautiful choices! But my heart belongs to pearls. It seems that I am irresistibly drawn to those sublimely glowy marine gems.

Mine is Topaz and the only color I was aware of was orange-not a fan. Then I learned there was pink and peach, rare when they’re untreated. They’re very pretty. I would like those in earrings. Not over the moon though. Love diamonds( my youngest is an April baby), Sapphires in blue, pink and padparadscha, love Rubies and Garnets that are pinkie purple like pomegranate seeds and then the Tsavorite and Emeralds. That’s the tip of the iceberg for me.

Stones of the Zodiac are all silica, apart from turquoise! Chemically speaking, not a lot of variety there.
