What kind of jewelry would you wear with this dress? I need shoe recommendations too. It's the Maggie Sottero "Libby" if you want to look on her site for a better pic of it. P.S. Puh-leeeease don't tell me you hate the dress because I love it. :)

LOVE that dress! It looks so pretty on you too!!

I can totally picture little drop pearls or diamonds with this. I think something small and not too ornate (so no chandeliers I would say??), since the gorgeous lace provides so much detail. I also say no necklace, again because you have such pretty lines and details on the dress.

God I wish I could pull off lace! You do it beautifully!

I think something with crystals would be gorgeous. Not something too blingy, but a little bit of light shining from your neck might add a little "jazz" instead of going with a traditional pearl. Maybe a baroque swarovski?

But a pearl tear drop would also be beautiful.

Something like this? While I agree you should keep it simple, you should also keep it different....

Or this? *Sorry if this is not your thing.... I just love looking for jewelry!*

OOoh, i love that one! it is nice and simple and elegant, but really unique like Neveah said!

Oh, I love all of those. Feel free to look away, your suggestions are perfect! :)

I think tiny drop earrings would be perfect too. Crystals/diamonds/etc or pearls....?? I HATE the jewelry they have on the model on the Maggie site...okay, well not necessarily the jewelry itself but the look - I just don''t see this as a tiara kind of dress. I am thinking something a little more vintage looking since the dress has such a timeless, antique-but-modern look to it (which is exactly the aesthetic I get from my ring).

Your dress is gorgeous, largirl!

I love silver shoes, but I think the dress has such a timeless look that maybe an ivory satin or ivory pearl leather sandal would work better?

I also agree that some kind of teardrop earring and maybe a simple matching necklace would look spectacular!

Nice choice!

P.S. Funny thing was, I was just thinking of posting about what would go with the dress I finally ordered!!! Guess I should get on that, huh?

Neveah, this means you''re gonna have more jewelry finding to do!!!

I can''t believe the part of the wedding - the entire thing of which I''m planning in three weeks - that I''m stressing out about most is what jewelry to wear. :)

I wanted to do my hair half up and half down, kind of loose curls (we''ll see if that would work b/c I have really thin hair) with an elbow length veil...then for dinner replace the veil with a silk magnolia hairpin (to match the Savannah locale!).

Your mention of the magnolia for the hair reminds me of Michael Michaud''s work.

I admit I have the matching bracelet for the earrings.

I am wearing the same dress. I will be wearing pearl studs and I am thinking my necklace may be a strand of pearls (you know the kind with fishing line with the pearls spaced out along it- does that mayke sense?). LAtely I have been freaking out that maybe I bought the wrong dress. I hope it''s the right one- it was expensive.

Gorgeous dress! I''d also skip the necklace unless you wanted to do a super simple small pearl or diamond on a chain. I''d do a small drop earring, probably pearl, to go with the vintagey vibe. As far as a shoe, I think I''d stick with ivory, although a vintagey strappy silver sandal could work, too.

Diamond studs with a strand of pearls. Done.

Uh-oh...it says she was planning her wedding and getting married in 3 weeks...

Maybe she''ll have some wedding pictures to come back with and show us what she chose?
