What kind of spacer ring should I do?

I need advice on what kind of spacer ring I should go for...twisted rope? Knife edge? Silver or Rose Gold color? I know 1.5mm is a good thickness to start with but the style is where I don’t know.

My engagement ring and wedding band is made from platinum and the diamonds in the wedding band can scratch the prongs overtime. I enjoy the low profile e-ring but I want to protect it with a spacer ring without making it look too cluttered. Anyone have spacer rings they can share? I need style ideas. Thanks in advance!

If I bend my finger back a little I can see the prongs from the engagement ring start to touch. Washing my hands or just using my hands in general will do that over time. My e-ring is a new setting, it’s higher than what I had before but I’m still afraid for that to happen.

My e-ring is platinum and my band is white gold, and because they are two different metals, I got a silver band as a spacer- I know it will need to be replaced more frequently, but I’d much rather have the cheap spacer get scratched and lose some of the metal than my wedding set.
Honestly, try to see if you can find somewhere to try them on or purchase locally (or purchase from a vendor with a good return policy). I had a lot of ideas for spacers that didn’t work out the way I pictured, and at least for me, I think less is more.

I use a .75 space. It’s very thin so as to not be so obvious. Here’s a picture.

My space is a 0.8mm platinum band. I also have a 1mm gold twist ring that I also sometimes use as a spacer.
