As a companion to the what month did you get engaged thread...what month is/was your wedding? I''m just curious how prevalent the "most common" months are!

We''re being boring...June!

Only 3 choices? Well, I'm lucky my month is one of them. As of right now, we're thinking March 3rd, 2007.

ETA: Fixed, I see!

My happy hubby and I eloped in Las Vegas on New Year's Even 1998, but "did the deed" after mightnight so the marriage certificate would say Jan 1, 1999 (for tax purposes! Not very romantic, but otherwise we would have owed Uncle Sam a lot more in taxes -- LOL!!!). And my husband has ABSOUTELY NO EXCUSE to forget our anniversary!!!

We got married in September. A beautiful time of year in CA, and enough in advance that we didn''t need to worry about rainy season.

I was so worried about Texas'' oppressive heat, I didn''t even think about rainy season! I''m from Dallas (where the wedding is most likely being held) but I can''t remember if March is a rainy month or not! Eeek.

Honey, having lived in Texas for 5.5 years, I KNOW that the oppressive heat is the ONLY factor I would''ve thought of. Jeez - I''m sweating just thinking about that place.

I''d''ve had mine in January.

We are getting married this August.

We''re thinking Sept or Oct of next year. I voted October since we''re leaning more that way.

Same here. We''ll be married in Temecula on September 30th of this year.

We married on November 1, 2005. Chose that date because it was the last day before the start of a Muslim holiday here in Saudi Arabia, so we took advantage of the holiday for the purpose of our honeymoon. Got married in Bahrain on a hot and sunny day, then headed off to Dubai for honeymoon at the Mina A''Salam hotel, which was out of this world.

Tentative date is January 27, 2007 but we''ll see FI is spontaneous for all I know he could whisk me off to Vegas one weekend...family had bets on it during our trip there for New Years! LOL. Interesting results though, I would have thought June would be most popular.

We chose November 23, 1991. I wanted a cooler weather wedding with a long sleeved wedding gown. It was an absolutely GORGEOUS day. We had our reception in a banquet room with floor to ceiling glass windows on the 3rd floor of a hotel. The leaves were in the height of color that year and I have a wonderful picture of us cutting the cake with the red and orange leaves in the background. The downside to that date is that our anniversary will fall on Thanksgiving every few years, but we usually don't mind turkey on our anniversary.

Clark and I married October 14, 2002. We had an outside wedding at a beautiful B&B here in Pa. The trees were bright with fall colors, althought the weather was unpridictable. We had a HUGE tent and when it rained (yes it rained, hard) we were all covered. luckily the rain didn''t start till late and everyone was having a good time and not carring anymore!!

We were married in August 2004. It''s sorta a guarenteed month for sunshine here in Canada. I was adamant of having an outdoor wedding. Here in BC, you just never know what your getting weather wise...

We were married in September of 1986. The weather was glorious, not a cloud in the sky.

We did the total off season NYC wedding this February 4. We took a chance and got very lucky as it was 50 degrees and only drizzling (showers on and off). We got our vendors at a discount too. It was worth the risk because I really wanted a winter wedding!!

July 8, 2006 baby! 4.5 months to go!!!

We got engaged January 19th, 1981 and married February 14th, 1981...

I had been engaged before--4 times before--so he wanted to make sure I actually went through with things this time. As weird as it may sound, I am glad we did it this way. I made it easy on him...V-Day and our anniversary...no excuse to forget and we can celebrate both at one shot. It is already a romantic holiday and I am such a diehard romantic that it was the perfect choice for us...Burgundy, mauve, hot rose pink, and medium grey were our colors...and this Tuesday, the 21st of February, we leave for St. Lucia to celebrate 25 years of love and marriage...I am excited and scared all at the same time!

Had a ceremony on Oct. 2 and Oct. 30th. Beatiful sunny California weather, both in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Me and my hubby got married June 23rd 2001. It was so funny it had been 100 every day for like two weeks and our wedding was to take place outside next to a lake. And two days before that date it started rainning and stopped the night before and that day the highs was only like 75 to 80 outside and it was beautiful!!! I was so happy because I didn''t sweat and my cake didn''t melt and all of my roses and star gazers where wuilt free!

We were going to get married , nad rained that weekend. I was supersticious, and so we waited until the next weekend.
