What non-bling items are on your 2024 holiday wish list?

I am lusting after a Ninja double-stacked airfryer! :lol-2:

Can't justify the expense right now when I have a 1.5L cheapo one that suits my needs.

I just love the double-stacked design as it means it would not take up as much room on the counter compared with one with 2 baskets sitting side by side.

DK :))

I'd like an instant pot even though I've never tried one, some watercolor paints, and some books!

I have and Instatpot and do use it for certain things, and like it.

"Odd I belong to every (other) site that sends me emails for those products I don't need.... (jewellery LOL)..."

Always happy to help a fellow LC lover out. ;)2

Pan fried my fresh salmon in my new skillet.....

Can’t think of a single thing :shifty:

Ohhhh...where did you get it??? Black Friday? The Holiday Treasures this week were the sauteuse and goose pot. What color?

I love the instant pot! I got the duo so it can airfry as well. Currently it's been a staple in my house for all the soups and bone broths. The kids love it! And it's so quick :)

@ my favorite kitchen shop close by, they had 40% off. Red, I love red!

WHERE????? I'm looking to score the iron handled skillet.......

Idk if you’re on Reddit but the Le Creuset subreddit posts good deals that pop up. I got a 7.5 qt chefs oven for $176 earlier this year.

I just treated myself to one with an airfry lid as well! Not sure what I'll use that part for.. and I got a big beast 8qt because leftovers are where it's at.

I just got a laptop for work, though I expect I will need to start using it before Christmas I would love a leather really nice structured bag that looks like a purse for the laptop, to replace my purse, and is roomy for client meetings. I have been looking at the Emma Traveler 39 online by Jemma - does anyone have it and love it?

If you are looking for something to gift my #1 recommendation
is from Costco. Last year I bought everyone in my family, extended family and friends this heated faux fur throw - I seriously bought nearly 20 of these things and everyone loves them. I am someone who has freezing hands and feet all winter long and I use mine to warm up the bed before I get in and carry it around with me all over the house.

I have books on the way for Christmas. There’s nothing more relaxing for me than sitting in a comfortable armchair getting lost in a good book.

Nada! ... Actually Santa, less than nothing.

I want someone to get rid of all the excess stuff in our house & our garage.
About 70% will never be used. :knockout:

Was going to be 2 ct studs or a tennis bracelet but daughter's car broke down and had to help getting a new one.

Memories. Instead of gifts, we are starting a new tradition… a Christmas vacation. Each year we rotate who pics the destination. We started with our son who wanted Christmas in NYC.

A peaceful day with my family enjoying good food and occasionally thinking of those who left us (without too much grief getting in the way of the good memories).

Were you your own secret Santa to bring hoards of stuff to your house? K. If that is the case, you can still be Santa. Do your own work--like Santa does. Participate in your community to divest your belongings to other people who might need it. Call Goodwill. Homeless shelters and other community programs who might be grateful for donations. But not garbage. You can toss that yourself.

If you can't do it yourself, then hire an Elf. Or two. Provide them a living wage for a limited time to help you declutter. Kenny Santa.

The past few years I've been upgrading my wardrobe -- replacing my staple pieces with higher quality ones.

For Xmas, I'm buying Burberry's Mid-Length Chelsea Heritage Trench coat. It rains a lot where I live, and it doesn't get very cold, so this will be perfect!

1) Silk shawl (LV or Gucci)
2) Armani's perfume (rose scent)
3) Custom made, supercomfortable sneakers by a local shoe artisan: I brought them home yesterday.

It took me a few weeks but I figured out what I wanted...

I got suckered in to a Black Friday deal. Getting this Dr. Dennis Gross LED mask. It's FDA approved. I don't generally spend money in this arena so it's a bit of a splurge. I figure that 4 out of 5 family members can use it so it'll be worth it

Very Tron-chic...

A good coat! I have my super warm dog walking coats but they're all on the older side now and look ... on the older side. They still work and are super warm, but I want a nice coat I can wear in public LOL

So none of my business so I beg that you'll ignore me if inclined (I almost said so inclined, thus using so three times in three different senses - yes, I'm odd), but I encourage you to check out vintage coats. For warmth I buy vintage shearling - I bought one in 2014 and it's still almost the warmest thing I own, narrowly beaten out by my Carhartt work coveralls, which almost no one would want to wear in public (the coveralls, not the shearling.)

Both warm and beautiful are vintage wool coats - my daughter's and mine get applause at the tailor's, dry cleaner's, etc. - I even wore my vintage Pauline Trigère to Bergdorf's, and when the assistant admired it, I showed her the 1950's Bergdorf label. She said she knew it was vintage because Bergdorf's doesn't have anything that well made any more.

And I should add, all my vintage coats have been well under $200 US, except for my daughter's vintage princess coat - they're very popular right now, and even so that was under $250. You just can't get that quality for that price now.

Can you tell that in addition to jewelry, I love coats? Sorry to threadjack. Will be good now.

OMG I totally love your idea! Because if you think about it - they don’t make things like they used to anymore!!
