Having got lost 3 times on the way to a friend''s house, I told FI when I got there that if he bought me a satnav as a wedding gift I would leave him.

He thinks I need one just for walking around - he''s probably right too!

Anyhow, his reply was - oh, I thought you could give Wink a wish-list and I''ll buy something that way.

I''d like to get something a bit different and not the sort of thing I''d want to buy anyway. I also have no idea of the budget, but I would think $500 max.

A really beautiful sphene (3ct or so) - I saw one a few months ago in a museum and fell madly in love.

Diamond earring jackets (probably out of budget)

Ooooh, that''s nice and I love the cut.

Ideally a yellowy/green or green stone. Most important is very high dispersion.

I also like cushions, large pears and ovals.
