Right now I''m leaning toward "Songbird" (Eva Cassidy slash many other artists). I''d like to have a classical guitarist play during my ceremony, so it will all be his interpretation of the songs we choose.

Playing Love from ''Legend of 1900'', by Ennio Morricone.

heh heh....

My Cheri Amour

by Stevie Wonder.

WITH words!

My father and I are the only ones walking down the aisle and we are walking to the Prelude to Bach''s Cello Suite #1. The piece is about 2 minutes long and I don''t want the musician to stop at any cadence point, so our walk is going to be somewhat long. The guests will be sitting on top of a cliff overlooking the ocean, so I plan to start walking below them in one of the lawns, up a bunch of stone stairs to the cliff so I hope that takes 2 minutes :)

We''d originally hired a cellist, but he backed out and we replaced him with a classical guitarist. I thought I''d have to change my processional, but I really love how the piece sounds on classical guitar, so I''m sticking with it.

I walked down the aisle to "Here, There and Everywhere", as my Mother and her 5 sisters have done before me.

I really want "Uf dem Anger: Tanz" ("On the Green: Dance") from Carl Orff''s Carmina Burana. I am not sure if that''s going to happen, though, as we would have to have a transcription of the piece from full orchestra to something else.

Into the Mystic by Van Morrison

I''m not a ''Here comes the Bride'' bride and certainly not a ''modern'' bride... I had quite a hard time with this. I''m having a brass quintet (

) so I thought about Trumpet Voluntary, but I wanted something that''s not common... so I picked one of my favorite classical pieces, ''Pictures at an exhibition'' by Mussorgsky. The groom and BMs will walk in on the first ''Promenade'' and I will walk in on a short version of ''The Gates at Kiev''. It''s so majestic and sounds fantastic with a brass quintet, especially in a church!

i''m realizing bridal march and bridal chorus might be the same song..oops!

some great choices from ladies here..very original!

we are getting married on the beach with just an acoustic guitarist... we chose modern, but very important songs that span the course of our relationship....

i''m more excited for the music than anything else right now... that''s bad..... right?

i''m walking down to heartbeats by jose gonzales.... if you''ve never heard this song i would highly suggest spending $0.99 on itunes and downloading it... it''s beautiful! but i''m biased ;)
