What the heck is a "Bridal Session"?

I just got a call from a photography company that was at the last bridal show FI and I attended saying that we had won the drawing we entered for them and we won a free bridal session... she left me a message with contact information since I didn''t answer as I don''t like to answer when I''m not sure who''s calling

. But now I''m sitting here going..... what the heck is a bridal session? I know I can just call her back and ask her, but I feel kinda silly I guess, because they probably told me what I was entering for at the show and I wasn''t listening, OR FI entered us and didn''t even bother to see what he was entering us for! lol.

So when I call her back, if no one else has an explanation I''ll ask her what a bridal session is, but what else should I be asking? Not sure if anyone knows the answer to that either if they don''t know what a bridal session is. hehe.

My best guess would be a bridal portrait. You, in full wedding day attire, for in-studio photos. However, I could be completely wrong. I doubt they''ll think it''s funny if you ask.

Oh definitely! I''ve gotten a few of those calls where it''s obviously a gimmick, but on this one I have no idea till I call her back and ask some questions!

I think Jaders had a bridal portrait done on her wedding day, and I was assuming it was the same thing as a bridal session. As mentioned, you, alone, in your wedding dress and/or bouquet. I''m not sure where hers was taken but I''m assuming it was at the venue or her hotel room. I''m not sure if she checks in all that often anymore but maybe she''ll see this and chime in. She has a thread of her wedding around here somewhere.
