I have a 2007 Honda Pilot in Sierra Gray( I think that is the name of the color, it is the dark gray, not the light silver).

I used to think my dream car was an Acura MDX until I found that they redesigned the look last year, now I don''t like it as much.

I am not sure what my dream car is now, I suppose I would take any car as long as it was safe and FREE!!!

Are you talking about sprinting up and hopping into the car? I can''t remember who exactly did that. But yeah, that''d work.

And it IS lovely!
Yep!

Knowing my luck, I would end up landing head first with bruised dignity!
lol!

Thanks Maise!

I drive a 2005 Ford Five Hundred in ''Dark Shadow Grey''. My daddy put on a purple pinstripe just for me. I love the car. It''s massive but is a dream to drive. We''re in the process of putting on fog lights and daddy is making a custom grille for the front. I''m so spoiled!

My absolute dream car is a 1957 Ford Thunderbird in Dusty Rose. Wide Whitewalls. Hardtop convertible. Gagagagagagagagaga. Too bad I can''t convince daddy to get me one of those!

My hubby drives a 1998 Ford Crown Victoria with 177K miles on it. Old police vehicle complete with the cage in the back and bars on the windows. He also has 2 1963 Ford Galaxies and a 1959 Rambler Ambassador.

Jess
Oh now that would be a hoot to cruise around in, especially if you had another couple with you.
9.gif
It is a hoot to cruise around in because people actually think he''s a cop sometimes and you''ll see them scrambling to put their seatbelts on and slow wayyy down on the expressway. Ticks hubby off sometimes but that''s what he gets!

Honestly, the car is crap so we take mine whenever we go anywhere, especially if others are going with us.

The cage and window bars come out, but not very easily so he doesn''t mess with them much.

Jess

Here's my ultimate dream car. I saw one of these at a car show I went to with my dad when I was 14 - I've wanted one ever since! It's a '57 red and white Corvette.

ETA: Just noticed the dual headlights - this one appears to be a '59, but I'd still take it!!

lol! True.

My hubby was on a kick several years ago where he wanted to buy an old hearse, thought it would be fun. Um, no. lol

We have a black 2007 Lexus LX470. Technically, it''s Nate''s car because he bought it, but since he takes the train, I use it. I used to have a Lexus GX470 and since it didn''t have what I felt was enough space, my uncle bought it from me for his son that turned 16.

I like the LX, there is nothing that I can complain about. It''s something that we have to have because Nate is tall and it''s basically our family car.

beau13, I have to tell you that the GX does not truly seat 8. The 3rd row is not a true 3rd row. The GX is a fine SUV, but when I had my GX, the 3rd row seats were in the garage covered with plastic. The 3rd row is basically big enough for two small kids.

We''re going to order a Mercedes GL550 in Red.

Nate also wants a convertible of some kind, but it''s not going to happen . . .
yep, too small for adults .

My car is a 2001 Honda Prelude in Electron Blue Pearl. It is my baby. I love my car, and if nothing else goes with me when we move out of state, my car goes. I''ll give up my shoes for my car. And I''ve bought about 5 pairs of shoes to match my car (see avatar). Oh yeah, and I try to drive it as little as possible, so it only has 53k miles on it, for a 7 year old car in New *Urban Sprawl* Mexico, that''s pretty impressive.

My dream cars are:
2001 Honda Prelude in Electron Blue Pearl
1997 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo in any color I can get it
2003 Nissan 350z in Daytona Blue

FF''s car is a 2007 Volkwagen Rabbit that goes by the name of ''Jessica'' (Jessica Rabbit-get it?) I helped pick it out. It''s silver and apparently he likes it.

Oh yes, those cars are hot. I have always loved the Preludes too, and yours is really nice!!!!

My current car is a Cosmic Blue Metallic 2004 Toyota Solara (with some modifications -- she is a real canyon runner now... I

her!).

My absolute dream car is probably an Audi R8.

My more "practical" (as in I might have a chance of getting it) is a Lexus SC430

Here is a picture of my baby... (almost at 100k

Oops, I meant that hubby got me the car in 2003, brand new and it only has over 16000 miles on it. Drive much?

DF,
So what do you drive, and what is your dream car??
dream car ?
20.gif
http://www.mbzsales.com/New%2062s.htm
But would you get a driver to tote you around?

DH always jokes that this is the car I need! With a driver of course!

I drive a gray Chevy Silverado extended cab, it is HUGE! Funny thing, my husband drives a Chevy HHR.
If gas prices weren''t so outrageous I would LOVE to drive a Suburban.

I have a red toyota corolla, but my dream car is either an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, an Audi S5 (or an RS5 when they come out!), a Tesla Roadster, or a totally restored vintage Jaguar E Type. Yum!

Imagine driving the kids around in this...LOL

I wonder if it''s true what they say about a man compensating with his car....
Doesn''t bode well for Prince Waleed.....

Bahahahahahahahah!!!!

I drive a 2007 Nissan Maxima / Silver w/ black leather interior. Its a great ride, although it packs a little more power than I need, but BF convinced me (I love it aesthetically), so that's what we got LOL. Its also very roomy, and since I am 5'10, I need it!

My dream car...well that is a whole other story. I am a Beemer girl, not too fond of Mercedes (it's like Coke or Pepsi, you either like one or the other, right?)

Any BMW will do, but I love the coupe (in bright blue, or white...silver too lol). Maybe some day...

BTW: I second Ladypirate...I love me some Aston Martin...but that is like my lesser realistic dream LOL

I do love my 2001 Accord EX V6 - it''s a great car, but I wouldn''t call it a dream car. I REALLY want a Jeep Wrangler, and I''d also take a BMW or an Acura...

Hey we have the same car! Is yours 2 door? I loooove mine.

Mine''s the 2 door - back when I bought it in ''01, I didn''t feel old enough to drive a 4 door sedan. It''s been a great car - never had any problems.

LadyPirate - I think we are car twins, the Aston or the Tesla are my two dream cars too. Although I also have a thing for Ferraris, in Navy blue...yum...

I currently drive a 2004 Subaru Impreza, Silver metallic (college graduation present). I''m hoping to get myself a new ride when I finish my PhD and get a job, hopefully inside a year. Realistically, that will probably be either the new Infiniti G37 coupe, or a top-of-the-line Prius (unless they''ve come out with a perfect roadster hybrid in a reasonable price range by then...hey, a girl can hope, right?

I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, the color is Black Cherry, OMG my truck is beautiful

I bought it last year and it the prettiest truck I have ever owned, its got all the goodies on it

Thanks for the heads up. I only have two kids..I might have one extra passenger (child) for the occasional hockey game. It''s not the seating I need, it''s the trunk space for the hockey bags. Since they don''t sell "luxury" vehicles in my city, I am gonna drive 4 hrs to Toronto to check out this vehicle, along with the Porsche Cayenne, and Lincoln Navigator. My hubby is stuck on the Toyota Sequoia Platinum Edition!

i have a 2008 honda crv EX-L in black, small, cute lil SUV. as far as dream car...hmmmm...never really thought about it... BMW 6 series convertible maybe?

Presenting... the smallest car y''all have probably ever seen!!! But FI''s is even smaller - and he''s well over 6ft!

I love my motor because she''s all mine, every last penny of her paid for entirely by me. She''s the most expensive thing I own and I''m super proud of myself for buying her all with my own hard-earned dough. She''s a nippy little thing and hugs corners nicely (the model is a particular favourite with ''boy racers'' over here for a reason
2.gif
). And she gets me 50mpg on average, 60mpg on the motorway!

The one cause for concern I have is that she''s only a 2* on the EuroNCAP safety system.

ETA - the dream car is a BMW 3 series coupé. One day

ETA -again - ooh Ellen! You dream hiiiiigh!!!

Forget my car!!!
What???
Hunh??
Your FI!!
What did I miss???
I go out of town for 2 weekends and miss this??
Shut the front door! I''m off to figure this out Miss Delster... Or should I say Mrs. Retsled!!!

ETA~ ok I drive a new Lexus IS, red. Believe itor not, the red is very over the top for me, seriously! But I figured it was my last chance at red so I should go for bc the Lexus IS red it TDF!
Right now we are working on the FI''s dream car... Which he can''t actually decide on but as soon as he does it will prob be his. Wither the Mercedes G Wagon or a Land Rover Defender.
For me though, it''s an Aston Martin, and nothing else will do!... A girl can dream, right??
CR, what kind of gas mileage does your IS get? Do you put premium or middle-grade in it?

Don't have one...yup that's right. I like in LA and I don't have a car!! So for now I just have to drool over all of yours!!

This is a life decision I have decided to make for 5 years of my life. I think if everyone would stop driving for a few years we wouldn't have nearly as many of the environmental probablems that we have although I realize it's not possible for everyone's lifestyle or place where they live. I think it's especially important to try to carpool or use public transit in places with smog issues (like LA).

The first year was very tough because I was moving, recocorating, and buying furniture. However, I found friends that were often great and helped me out and there were also some very comical times with large items on the bus!! It's a hassle, but worth it in my opinion. I don't do very many other things to help the environment, so this is one big thing I decided to do. On the positive side, DH and I save about 6k a year from me not having a car. It really adds up between the cost of the car, maintenance, gas, parking, insurance, etc. I don't have high income, but because I don't have a car I can save money and also have nice clothes and make some larger diamond purchases...woohoo!!

I will finally buy a car the summer of 2010, because that will be about 5 years. I love the toyota corolla because it's fuel efficient, reliable, and cheap. My dream car would probably be a red mini cooper S version with a stick shift. When we have kids someday I'll probably have to get real and buy a less efficient bigger car, but I'll feel better about it since I spent all of these years walking and taking the bus.

Kcoursolle, I''m so impressed, and I really wish I could do the same sort of thing. But I can''t, at least not until my commute is less than 70 miles a day, unfortunately. In the meantime, this is my current car: 2007 Mazda3 hatchback in Aurora Blue Mica. LOVE this car. I don''t really have a dream car, but I really like the look of the Mazda RX-8. I''d also love to have another ''65 Mustang (or to restore the one I drove in high school, which my dad still has in storage).
