What''s the first nice piece of jewelry you bought yourself?

I thought this might be a fun little poll.

I guess I''ll go first. The first nice thing I bought myself was a cultured freshwater silver pearl ring set in a 14k WG band made to look like a flower. The pearl was the bud and there were tiny leaves carved in the gold around it with 10 little diamond chips and the shank was carved a bit to resemble a stem. It was from a big dept. store chain where I had started working, and I loved the ring and bought it with my 15% discount!

The first "serious" thing I bought myself was a ring that has heart-shaped amythest surrounded by diamonds, and it has a diamond bow on top. It''s patterned after a claddagh ring.

I think this is a great thread because I believe in "I love me" gifts. I bought myself 1/3 ct, VS/G diamond studs in white gold. I really wanted a pair and decided not to wait for a guy to buy them for me. I COULD always us a bigger pair of course!
