I have some friends who wear the engagment rings on their right hand and their wedding band on their left hand.

If you wear them both on your left hand, the wedding band goes on first, then the engagement ring. The way I was told is that the wedding band is closest to your heart.

I''ve also seen different ways depending on the individual woman''s taste. I tend to wear my e-ring and wedding band on the same hand, with the wedding band going on first (as previously stated, it''s closer to the heart). I did read on this board that one woman will switch the order if she''s going swimming (with the e-ring inside) so the w-ring will protect the e-ring from falling off if her fingers shrink from the cold water.

My original w-set will either be worn on my right hand or is worn when I do want to wear my current w-set (like if I''m traveling to the Caribbean or something)
