I am looking to book a hotel room in Miami for one night next January, and egads, everything down there is so expensive!!!

I know about and regularly use Travelocity, Expedia, and Orbitz.

What are you favorite websites for finding the best deals on hotel rooms, flights, etc.?

I like the ones you listed, vrbo.com, tripadvisor.com, sidestep.com, expedia.com, gotoday.com, just to name a few.
ops, for hotels, I like hotels.com, expedia.com, the hotel website (sometimes they are cheaper), and second priceline.

You''re looking waaaay too far in advance! I wouldn''t book until a few months before my travel dates. This far out, hotels won''t have any specials. I''ve had good luck with Priceline.com when I didn''t have a specific hotel that I wanted to stay in.
