I don''t think MY last pair of snow boots cost that much...lol.

But you only have two feet

OK- that dog bottie pic is awesome. Looks like she needs a helmet and a bob sled....

And as for you cat freaks...you know who you are LOL...It's official, I'm starting a cats only thread tonight...unless someone does it sooner. I'm the biggest freak of all. my digital is ALL cat pix. I love looking at cats. I could do it all day long!!!

P.S. I find that HARD to believe Ms. J-Fo!!! LOL....I know where you shop girl! :) I'm sure the shoe collection rivals the jewelry collection!!!

I love my Vincent more than anything!!!!!! But don''t tell his brother and sister....or my husband LOL...He is 100% mischief. He is also part monkey...as he climbs all over the house (and is responsible for putting back claw scratches in some of my best furniture)...But that face! He likes to be held like a baby over my shoulder and follows me all over!!

vin2.jpg

Scotty looks like he has little squnity eyes here...but it''s the sun! All is does is talk and love. He is the original cat-dog!

squint.jpg

Whatever you put in front of Vinny, he will groom. Doesn't have to be a cat. Can be a person. A remote control. A piece of fruit LOL
p.s. he has some white flecks of hair...he doesn't need Head and Shoulders as it look in the pic LOL

lick.jpg

moremoremore- your cats are beautiful. Scotty reminds me of my fiances cat.. just a big BOY cat..

Everyone else - awwwwwwww.. what lovely little animals..

Mara - LOVE the doggie boots.. My cat hates putting her paws in the snow.

JC - your kitties are lovely. I wish one of my cats was only 7lbs.

My baby stormie is 15lbs of fatness, and her sister is about 12lbs..

Awwwww, MMM, how cute.

Vinny & Scotty sittin'' in the sun
groomin'' & lovin'' and
havin'' lots of fun

LOL! I think they might be gay- not that there is anything wrong with that!!!

I can''t get Gracie to sit still long enough to take her picture.

as per Iceprincess, this is my baby, Rocky. He''s a yr and a half now. My husband chose him from the rest of the litter because he was very curious and came towards us first. He was also the biggest puppy at 7 wks, hence the name Rocky. He is always happy and smily (except when he has to pose for camera), loves people, very smart and playful. He can understand some commands in english and chinese. He''s our precious little baby! heheh

i LOVE pom''s, they are so cute! Love the perpetual ''whome'' look on their face!!

i wouldn''t mind getting a 2nd dog to keep P company--but i dont know if our house could take it! it''s already taken a beating with one dog in residence, but two?!

adore the dog bootie picture, did you see Portia''s on the previous page? they look like the same brand of shoes, but hers are red! hehee.

One more tonite...these are some shots of Portia in Jan and Feb of 2005. She''s 9 months!

The first two capture her fave positions around the house...haaa...after we get up in the morning she moves into MY spot at the pillow (picture #2)...little rat!

The last one was this afternoon as she was racing towards me in the park, she''s airborne!

The light of our lives....people keep telling us we need kids?! Nah!

Here's my Missy. She's also in the no dogs allowed thread. The face only a mother could love but is truly the sweetest kitty I've ever had.

This is Mowgli, the most wonderful, smartest mutt I have ever known. Finding him was amazing luck on my families part.

We are a cat family and growing up we always had cats but never a dog. The summer before my senior year in high school my sister was driving to the Oregon cost along a remote rural road and saw a car pull off the shoulder of the road ahead of her and speed away. They left behind a small desparate puppy that ran after the car. Of course my sister couldn''t drive by and leave the puppy to its fate so she stopped and picked it up. She and the friend she was with spent the day trying to feed and comfort him as he was obvously frightened and feeling very lost.

She then drove home with a dog to face the wrath of my mother. As i said we were a cat family no dogs thankyou. Well, the wrath never came my mom fell in love and now that her two kids have left the nest she dotes on Mowgli as much as anyone has doted on a dog; he is completely spoiled.

HI:

Glad you picked guys the pooch up!!!! He looks adorable--a great companion for your Mom!

cheers--Sharon

All animals are the cutest!! I think the only dog I have ever seen that I was not enamored with was that one that has big dreadlocks for hair!!

Oh and I just entered Portia in the Dogster Valentine's Day Stroll! If you have a Dogster page....add a V-Day pic! Princess Porkchop was NOT loving the photo session we had today...

... the things we do to our animals.

Mara,

Seeing your Dogster link the other day inspired me to see if there was a Catster link for my babies... Of course there was--and voila!
http://www.catster.com/pet_page.php?i=113370&j=t (Bud)
http://www.catster.com/pet_page.php?i=113373&j=t (Sissy)

It''s sad though--all these "cats" immediately sign up to be friends with Bud & Sissy and all of a sudden they have more friends on Catster than I do on Friendster! Go figure...

Eep! I love this thread... Looking at all pets makes me want even more!

Catster is just as cool as Dogster, fairly new I think...totally appropriate!! I left treats for your cats...
9.gif

It's hilarious how many friends or people show interest in your dogs! We get little notes all the time..and Portia doesn't even realize...hehe.

The VDay stroll is hilarious...I've never put P into any of their strolls before but I was too tempted and I was at home with her today since her stomach has been upset, so I figured we'd make good use of our time...HA!

Here is her VDay stroll pic:
http://www.dogster.com/vpp/valentine_page.php?i=41170 . I wrapped her in my pink scarf and I think she was trying to give me the evil eye!

I have to post this pic of my niece and their Newfie looking out the window. My sister has two Newfies and since the female had surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff, the two dogs cannot play together because this one, a male puppy, is too rough. So this one watches out the window as his sister plays outside and he cries.

Mara,
I love that Valentine''s Day pic of Portia. You''re right, it does look like the old stink eye! ROFLMAO! Portia should have a cartoon caption above her head saying, "Silly parents. Why must I suffer fools?" It''s as if she''s in those teenage years when we want nothing to do with our parents and everything they do just annoys us.

Hey Puddy
Thanks for posting your pommie baby here. I have to say that when I first saw those eyes and that expression on Rocky''s face, my eyes welled up because he reminds me so much of my first pom, Sawyer. This guy was the best dog I''ve ever had and the most amazing connection I''ve ever had with any animal in my life. He was killed by a hit and run driver nearly 8 yrs ago and I have to say that to this date, that was the worst grief I had ever experienced in my life. To some, that last statement might sound overly dramatic, but to animal lovers and owners there is no judging that loss. A loss of love is a loss of love, period.

Awwww Patty- I love that picture. The poor thing.

Gosh, everyone has incredibly beautiful pets. I'm another cat lover... this is patches. when she was younger, she really did have "patches" but they strangely disappeared:
