when do rehearsal dinner invites go out?

hi girls, curious when these typically go out? I know it''s less formal so i''m guessing maybe one month prior?

The rehearsal dinner invitations are sent two weeks before the wedding.

If you''re inviting any out of towners to the RD and want them to be there, maybe let them know ahead of time just so they can plan their travel arrangements accordingly. I sent out an email to my friends that are coming from elsewhere (they are invited to the RD) just to let them know the schedule before they book their tickets. I think we''ll probably send out the invitations 2-3 weeks beforehand. We need a good count because we''re providing transportation.

we had rsvp for regrets only. not sure what date due.

two weeks for the rd invites to go out was from the crane''s etiquette website

Hi Janine,

Actually, my cousin just got married over Memorial Day weekend and his father sent out rehearsal dinner invitations a month before-hand. It was for the attendants and family only. There were several of us who were traveling from a distance so it was nice to find out well in advance when the RD was so we could make travel arrangements. I guess it may depend on who you''re planning on inviting and whether they have to make additional travel arrangements.

Ours was word of mouth but if I would to send them out I would do them with their invite so they can make special travel arrangements.
