My gown has an organza overlay and I saw one bride here who had one and it just positively flowed and glowed :) I want one!!!

Any recommendations of good internet sellers who sell these for $50 or less? I normally find those that sell tulle veils but haven''t run into organza ones.

Here is one site I found. They have one on special for $30. What length are you looking for?

Thank you :) I put a mock order in for what I''d want (waist length) and it came to $140

I supposed I could go with the "poly organza" instead of the silk organza but I dont'' know how different that would be from what I want. Anyone know?

In the meantime, there are two I''m watching on Ebay.

If anyone knows of anyone knows of any other places, I''d love to hear of them!

How DIY are you? If you aren''t inclined, do you have a relative with sewing skills? This sitetalks about making your own, and I''m sure you could find the fabric for less than what that distinctive veils site quoted you. Plus, if you can find a nice fabric store locally, it''d give you a chance to see/feel the organza in person and get an idea of how well it would suit your dress. I think with your Pia dress a simple veil with maybe some crystals here and there or a ribbon edging would be gorgeous.

I''m pretty self-efficacious when it comes to DIY lately........but I just don''t know if I want to keep parceling out my time like this to another DIY project. I will, however, definitely take a ride to Joanns to feel thier organza. I think that is just a wonderful idea!!

The one on Ebay looks so beautiful and it sort of tapers down altho it''s only one tier so it gives it a nice shape. I think it''s like $30 with shipping

so if I can get that, I think I''d be happy. I wonder what kind of organza the Ebay one is. I never realized there were poly and silk makes

And I think you are right that Pia doesn''t need much :) If the veil I get does not have crystals on it already, I would heavily consider doing that part myself as I do have one of those nifty hotfix guns now :)

Hiya

here''s a link to some photo''s I posted showing my dress and veil which were all designed and made by my dressmaker. My veil is georgette (don''t know if this differs from organza) and was hand-made and sewn onto a butterfly clip and had small crystals around the edges. It was cheap as chips to make and only cost about a fiver ($10) to make, this included the crystals and clip.

hope this helps.
