I''m looking to get my soon to be wife a tennis bracelet for a wedding present. Is this a good idea or if I''m going to spend $4-5K should I get her a Rolex? I just need some advise on where to get a good deal.

Thanks

Hi and welcome to PS!

Many of the vendors do fab tennis bracelets, I have heard that Wink Jones at Winfields has done some for very delighted customers, check this page https://www.pricescope.com/dealers.asp as this has the listing of PS vendors and check out their sites.

Try Winfields for Wink, Whiteflash, Good Old Gold, Engagement Rings Direct and Pearlmans, James Allen etc to see if they have anything you like, also they are a great bunch of guys and ladies and will be pleased to answer any questions you may have and generally assist you.

As to getting her that or a Rolex I would try as best I can to see if you can find out her preference, it is hard to guess what she might prefer as I would want the watch if it was a high end brand, I guess you may know best or could you ask her or drop a hint? But either gift will be wonderful whatever you choose!

i own a platinum half bezel five carat tennis bracelet from whiteflash. i love it. you may want to consider the whiteflash bangle with diamonds and the rolex. a lot of the ps ladies are opting for this bangle. just something you might want to consider. i don''t think your so would be unhappy with either.

Is there a thread on your bracelet, crown?

no. i don''t know how to post pics. it is the standard bracelet just done in platinum as i have the dreaded nickel allergy. thanks for asking.

Hi there,

I recently bought a lovely tennis bracelet from Wink Jones at Winfields. I did a lot of research before choosing (comparing various vendors etc) and feel I got the best deal in terms of balancing quality stones and price (well cut, H/SI stones, bracelet is 18k white gold and 5.05 carats in total). BTW, if you think you may ever want to upgrade the bracelet to a larger one, Wink was the only vendor I could find who would allow that.

You can follow my journey in this thread. (Scroll down for hand pics.)

Personally, I think a tennis bracelet is a timeless and elegant wedding gift, but as the other posters said, if she prefers a watch, that is what you should purchase! :)
